Just subscribed to HBO Max. What are some must-watch shows on there?

The Leftovers is the greatest show of all time.
Chernobyl and Band of Brothers are both in the discussion for greatest mini series of all time.
Many on here would say The Wire is the greatest show of all time.
Some others would probably say The Sopranos is.
True Detective season 1 is the greatest single season of TV ever. Stop after season 1.
Eastbound and Down might be the funniest show of all time.
If you haven't watched any HBO shows you are in for a treat.

The wife and I just started it this week, but I like Rome so far. Not as good as some of those you listed but its better than most series on other platforms.

If you like hospital dramas The Pitt is probably the best I have seen. Keeps me on the edge of my seat the whole time. Can't go wrong with any of the above recs as well. HBO is expensive but well worth it in my opinion.

Rome, Deadwood, OZ, Six Feet Under, The Sopranos, The Wire. That’s if you are a younger individual that isn’t old enough to have watched the older content from HBO.
