Most of the acting in Django was great. Waltz, Dicaprio, and Jackson were all really good. The ending was too over the top and stupid for me though. Hateful 8 was less serious in tone and it had some stupid moments but I think I enjoyed it more overall.

Neither do I. Very good movie. Not once during the movie was I like " meh, this isn't that good"
I think people just start to expect greatness every time from big name directors and actors. And when it's not fantastic, but still really good, they are disappointed

Hateful 8 was very good, as was Django. Real solid 8/10 movies.
Even if you're not a fan, there's no way anyone can say a movie like Death Proof was better. To me, it's EASILY the worst QT movie. Just a half-arse effort to say the least.
