About time, it's been forever since the third one.

Hopefully not another Star Wars mishap and coming off Kingdom of Krystal Skull they have a lot of work to do.
Another issue is what country is the enemy or villain anymore.

Cold War Russia or North Korea is about all that makes sense.

If he’s in his late 70s/80, wouldn’t this set the film in the 70s?

Curious who the bad guys will be. They can still do Russians I guess.

I've gone on record as much as I LOVE Indiana Jones, if they are going to do this, just have him be James Bond. Replace him every so often with a new young actor like Chris Pratt or something.

You can't make communism evil anymore, so it will probably be Americans as the evil doers.

What about Mutt?
Maybe they can come up with a reason to show him swinging on monkey vines in every movie.

I don't care how old he is...if they do it right, I'm in. If they fill it with all kinds of inane CGI bullshite like the last one, I'm out.

I don't even mind some CGI help if it's done well and fits within the context of the story. Just don't have stupid bullshite like vine swinging, cartoon ants, boats dropping down 37 waterfalls, etc. for no reason other than to utilize CGI and look stupid.

He already reprised it in The Legend of the Crystal Skull. It was a disaster.

This will be worse still.

Well, that was 1989.

The fourth Indiana Jones movie was 2008.

So, yeah... been a while.

Pretty much. Indy is a World War I veteran and since Harrison Ford will be 78 or 79 when they start filming the movie, this chapter of Indiana Jones will either have to be set in the late-60s or early-70s.

ETA: Just looked up the age of the character. Indiana Jones was born on July 1, 1899. So if they were to go by Harrison Ford's age exactly, this film should be set in the late-70s.
