in an interview with ComicsExplained, Hardy admitted that all his favourite scenes had ended up on the cutting-room floor. When asked "What was your favourite scene to film?" he replied: "Things that aren’t in this movie."

The Taboo star continued: "There are like 30 to 40 minutes worth of scenes that aren’t in this movie... all of them. Mad puppeteering scenes, dark comedy scenes. You know what I mean? They just never made it in."

Distancing himself before the movie is released is never a good sign. Sounds like the PG13 rating eviscerated the movie.

Something looks off about the movie in the trailer(s).

I dont read anywhere in your posts that Hardy says he "hates" Venom.

I am pretty sure everyone on this board called it and saw it coming.

I was skeptical but intrigued by Hardy and Venom initially and realized the obvious potential with the character

My interest died the second PG13 was announced. Sony just doesnt "get" this proprerty or Spiderman in general.

This good to know, right before opening weekend

Apparently it's not an MCU film, not that many will care anyway.

I have my tickets for Thursday. Since I'm the only one seeing it in the theaters, I'll let y'all know how it goes.

It's already screened and rumors are it's a horrible film. One blogger, who had to take his tweet down, said it was "catwoman" bad.

Anyone that couldn't tell this movie is atrocious from watching the trailer is blind.

It looks so bad. The CGI looks low-budget and stupid. The cheesy one-liners come off like a made-for-tv movie from the 90s.

All-around awful.

Such an awesome character too. Sucks they are fricking it up this bad.

Sony probably just cut all the parts out where Hardy was unintelligible.

The trailer looked so bad as to make me genuinely curious how they got Hardy to sign on as he seems to be relatively picky when choosing his roles.

Well in Hardy’s defense, he probably declined being in the film but his agent didn’t understand him

Skip this one and go see A Star Is Born if you want to see an actual quality movie this weekend.
