Just saw it today. Better than 2 but not as funny as i anticipated. They definitely messed with Alan's character too much

Just got back from watching it I can say this, 1 was funny because it was like nothing we had ever seen. 2 was awful. This one was very funny. I thought it was generally funnier than one because I thought 1 was funny because it was so wild.

Honestly very much happy the trilogy is done, but I thought it started with a bang and ended well. There was that in between that we won't talk about.

I really liked the first one.

Never saw the 2nd one. Heard from buddies that this one wasn't funny at all.

I'll pass on this one.

If you go in expecting another H1 you will be disappointed. H3 is better than H2, but not by much. The movie just wasn't funny. Crazy? yes. But not exactly funny.

Just got back, thought it was pretty funny. Not as funny H1 but definitely funnier than H2.

Obviously if you go in expecting a witty comedy you'll be disappointed. Take it for what it is and what you think it should be based on the first two and you should enjoy it.

This is the 4-5 time I read this in this thread. You people either were expecting WAY too much or you over value H2. They werent even close. H2 was awful, H3 was pretty damn funny.

This one was terrible. 2 was pretty awful too. I would rank them the same.

I was excited to see this one, about halfway through the movie I was like "why the frick am I watching this?" At the end of the movie I really wished I hadn't seen it.

I am just going to pretend this one and the second one never existed...

This one was definitely the worst one. They should have made the whole movie around the final scene.

**SPOILERS**

This one was completely different and the surrounding situation wasnt even funny. In the first two, they had their fun and stressful situations, but nothing really happened (that bad at least). In this one, they witness 3 people get murdered and try to deliver a 4th to be murdered. not exactly the same slap happy time.

The scene where they delivered chow in the trunk reminded me of Alpha Dog kinda. They were bringing him to the spot where he was gonna be murdered.

Taken alone and away from the ridiculous hype it received, The Hangover was hilarious. Then everybody started to say they were part of a "wolf pack" and acting like The Hangover was something never done before and that it was the funniest movie ever, blah blah blah. It really wasn't even as good as Old School. Doesn't mean it wasn't hilarious, but the hype train went full bore at that point and Zach Galifianakis all the sudden blew up. He became less funny as he got more popular. I remember Galifianakis from his show on Comedy Central years ago when he actually liked to laugh and seemed jovial. He's gone all Andy Kaufman now.

Then The Hangover 2 came out and I wanted to round up every digital and hard copy of that film and set them on fire inside Todd Phillips' a-hole. Seriously, that movie set cinema back 20 years.

The Hangover 3 is totally unnecessary and looks like a complete mess. I'd rather watch a flaming bag of shite than watch The Hangover 3.

it just blows my mind these movies can be so bad, you'd think with the budget and stars in place they could figure it out.

Galifianakis doesn't even belong in the same paragraph as Andy Kaufman.

Well, Kaufman is the worst example of an entertainer I can think of, so yeah, you're right. At least Galifianakis is funny

Well then your opinion is horrible because Galifianakis isn't funny at all.

Kaufman was a genius.

Kaufman was terrible playing to an audience too stupid to understand he was terrible. He was good at one thing: marketing himself. Nothing about Andy Kaufman comes across as genius. Instead, he came across as a man making a sad attempt to gain notoriety through stupidity.

If you don't think Galifianakis is funny, you haven't seen his stand up and you certainly never saw him before he became as popular as he is. A lot of his humor has become derivative of Andy Kaufman in that he delivers dead pan humor/jokes and attempts to act like he doesn't understand why the audience is laughing. It's fricking obnoxious.

Before The Hangover, Galifianakis was one of the funniest men in show business, very quick witted with a sharp sense of humor and wonderful timing. Andy Kaufman stood stupidly in front of an audience and lip synced Mighty Mouse. He was a fricking hack.

So, to use your words:

He wasn't a movie star. He was a stand up comic. And he was brilliant. He also had a short lived talk show that was pretty funny as he continued to find his comedic legs that called Late World or Late Night or some shite. He really had a span of several years that culminated (imo) with the Comedians of Comedy Tour wherein he toured with Maria Bamford, Patton Oswalt, and Brian Posehn.

Seen his stand up, awful, even before Out Cold.

Your opinion is still awful.
