It's always fun to see the single F word and wonder if it was optimally placed.
It’s also fun to wonder where to insert the F word in a PG-13 flick that doesn’t take advantage of the F bomb allowance.
ETA: to the guy who mentioned the X Men movies, the F bomb in First Class is the GOAT. 100% optimally placed.

Those Star Wars ones were funny. It's hard not to imagine it being Sam Jackson to say it.

I could do without LMM's offstage commentary track since the musical blew up, but I do find it interesting that "cultural appropriation" is okay when they want to do a hip-hop spin on the staid, white Founding Fathers era, but worthy of the death penalty when white folks are doing the appropriating.

Yep looking forward to it. I've seen the live show 3 times and listened to the album A LOT. Just a great, great show with fantastic music.

This board will have many posters who can’t get past the fact that some cast members don’t share the same political views as they do.
Which is a shame, because we saw it in NYC and can honestly say that it was the best going out viewing experience we’ve ever had (movies, play, standup show, etc). I don’t know if that same kind of magic translates on screen, I think it just hits differently seeing these kind of performances live. But nonetheless, it still should be good

I agree. It's ridiculous people make up their minds about things like this and are unwilling to even give some things a chance.
I've seen the touring production 3 times and and can't wait for next Friday.
The people who hate it because it's a mostly black cast with hip-hop music are dumb. It is relatively apolitical (in PC terms) which is funny considering it is about the founding fathers.

It's incredibly apolitical given the source material.
The only lines I can think of that could cross into political territory:
Hamilton's jabs at slavery during the rap battle (if this bothers you, you have deeper issues)
"Immigrants, we get the job done"
Both very minor and if you get upset at that, chances are you'll get upset at pretty much anything.

Dear Sir, I hope this letter finds you in good health
And in a prosperous enough position to put wealth
In the pockets of people like me down on their luck
You see, that was my wife who you decided to ((fuuuuck))
Uh oh, you made the wrong sucker a cuckold
So time to pay the piper for the pants you unbuckled
And hey, you can keep seein' my whore wife
If the price is right, if not I'm telling your wife

Can't wait to see it with the broadway cast and Miranda as Hamilton
Saw it once in Chicago and once in New Orleans
Enjoyed it much more second time because there is so much you miss the first time

Same here. We saw it in Chicago. And while that cast was fantastic, I've always wanted to see it with the original Broadway cast. I'm looking forward to it.
