trailer looks amazing but him stepping out of the burning house looks like some syfy channel special effects

He had none but he's playing Tommy Doyle(I assume Paul Rudd passed). Kyle Richards of Housewives fame, who was in the original, coming back as Lindsay.

Pretty amazing that there was a huge explosion at the end of the first, but Michael comes out of the house looking like his clothes weren't even touched. Must be some good fire retardant jump suit.

The same people saying this looks awesome will be complaining when they see the movie when Jason is running around like he’s Jason Borne the whole movie
That trailer looked more like an action movie than a horror movie to me. Come a long way from him being the slow methodical stalker type I guess

not gonna lie, the little riff of the theme at the end is pretty dope with the violins. almost sounds better than keys.
