i didn't like the ending for Gamora. Welcomed back in open arms to the Ravagers? Are they trying to make a Ravager movie with her in it?
I liked this ending. At the end she saw value in the guardians but this is a different Gamora. Every version of her needed a family that loved her. The first version found the guardians - this version found the ravagers. Both versions were loyal to there families albeit different ones.

I wouldn’t have liked it if she joined the guardians at the end.

it has to be interesting writing these movies within a large overarching story.

do you think Fieges is like “hey if we aren’t doing. more Guardians we need Quill on earth because people like Chris Pratt?

I was extremely disappointed in this film. Loved the first 2

The movie was bad. Way too long and bloated.

NPR review that i agree with.

So I say this to a vanishingly small subset of you: If you've ever found yourself walking out of an Marvel movie and said to yourself, "I liked it. It was fine. But I don't know. I can't help thinking it could have used...just you know a lot more vivisection," then rest assured your tastes have finally been catered to, you sicko freak.

She’s back with her found family. That’s the entire theme of the guardians.

It would have been so lazy to just hook her back up with Quill. That’s what their story is all about, they all come from damaged, broken backgrounds/homes and found new family. Gamora did the same with the ravagers.

Yeah but the entirety of the 3rd movie she acted like a hostage. It was draining, redundant, and added nothing. Why not just leave her out completely?

Also, I thought Adam Warlock was supposed to be a super badass?
There are 2 things I did not like about this movie. One of them being the way they handled adam warlock. He was an afterthought...At times he would pop up on screen and you would be like oh yeah he is still in this movie too. No big reveal, he just shows up, adds almost nothing to the plot...just a few throw away lines about. There was a moment where I thought his plot line was about to take off and we were really going to see some development, but it was just more of the same

Problem 2 was the ending, some nice moments but, 3 movies in and it was just sort of a "whelp I guess I'll be seein' ya around"

I had some shrooms this weekend and sat down to try and watch it. I lasted about three minutes and couldn't do it cause I just wanted to be outside walking around looking at shite and playing with the dogs.

my main complaint in that department is that Nebula knows how Quill feels about Gammorah. Even if she's a heartless cyborg, she knows that Quill wasn't ready to be in the same room as her and it was dumb to have brought them together.

it's a small complaint, but a legitimate one.

Gunn makes fun films, but the creators of the characters have legitimate beefs about how he handles them. Steve Englehart was complimentary of the movies, but he hates that they took Mantis and just used the name and image to create a totally different character.

Adam Warlock was created by Jack Kirby, but Stan Lee changed the origin with his scripting, then he was reinvented by Roy Thomas and Gil Kane, so there's not really a creator to be pissed about it.

But yeah, Adam Warlock was a super-serious, bad-arse character in the comics. Fans were drooling over the Easter egg of him in the previous movie.

In the original infinity war, Warlock was a key part of the assault on Thanos.

Downvotes must be because this movie was not up to par with part 1 or 2.

Except the movie addresses this - Nebula clearly explains to Quill that she didn't tell him they were meeting Gamora and the Ravagers because she knew he would freak out, but they needed them anyway to save Rocket.

Arguable, but this was still the best Marvel movie (or show) since Endgame, by a mile. I thought it was on par with GotG 2 (I never liked the prolonged CGI battle with Ego that ended that one). The original GotG is definitely the most re-watchable, and probably a top 3 Marvel movie.

Easy but still better than a lot of recent trash from Marvel.

It was fun, and nostalgic. Good ending. Hoping Quill on Earth means he can get involved with other teams.

I said complaint. Not raging plot hole.
