I don't agree with this point at all. Why does that mean they need to die?

You’re brave for starting this on Monday. I think too many tears are still falling over last night for it to be a productive thread tho.

There’s no more surprise or psychological suspense anymore. This show is simply a mindless action movie now.

I’m expecting to see terminator or a transformer in one of the final episodes

I don't think that much of an issue. Now that it seems like we'll be getting a 2nd big battle with the Golden Company it is possible that a fair many of these characters will just die then instead. Honestly, since it looks like we are having 2 big battles it makes sense to save some of our heroes so we can get some more "OMG. Not Character X" death scenes in the 2nd battle

You know what would be unpredictable? Arya tries to sneak into KL but is detected by Qyburn and then murdered.

But we both know something like that won’t happen

So when the mercenary army shows up, what force level is left for the North and its allies to fight back?

Try to get more forces (although with only 3 episodes I dont see how that works or who is left to recruit from)

This is interesting because I would be shocked if there were even 500 men left at Winterfell that are actual soldiers. A few possible options could be:
Still a considerable amount of Knights of the Vale left at the Eyrie/Runestone.
Frey's?
Ironborn?
Second Sons?
Dornish?

Cercei has 20,000 soldiers give or take and we know that The North isn't going to be able to round that many up but I will be shocked if they don't find some amount plus 2 dragons to make it interesting. Or like you said they could just 'plot magic' a bunch and not explain it.

the White Walkers ended up being a huge bust and not relevant to the actual story.

They wiped out all of the Dothraki and Unsullied.

They left Dany and Jon with no army to fight Cersei.

Cersei played it perfectly and now has a huge advantage, minus the dragons, which she has weapons against.

If you think that is irrelevant to the story, then I'm not sure what to tell you.

The White Walkers were Irrelevant. We know nothing more about them then we did 3 seasons ago. They are gone. They weren't the End Game like people on here thought. They were a bust. Now it is back to politics, backstabbing, and military alliances which is what the show was always about.

I believe there are still some loyal soldiers in Pyke. Also knights of the vale, as well has some other houses that didn’t send their forces.

Cersei doesn’t have a massive army but it’s definitely bigger than the survivors of the BoW. You know they’ve produced a hell of a lot of scorpion bolts as well so the dragons won’t be a huge factor, and in fact one maybe both will die.

I’m quite sure there will be quite a few plot twists to come

Isn’t there still a bunch of Wildfyre left under the city? I feel like the “give me 10 good men and I’ll impregnate the bitch” could be in play here.

Also, what about the Manderlys? We never really heard from them except for the Snow King in the North moment. Do we just assume they were in the battle? Also, where was the Vale commander last night?

But if none of this happens will you still call it predictable? Because I never saw your Arya killing NK prediction and yet that was predictable for you so...
