That is key. Her payment in full to the Iron Bank is long gone.

Right before they show up, Randyll Tarly says the gold made into the walls of King's Landing.

The grain stores though are gonezo.

Nah, how would she know that was a food convoy?

They just talked about how the Lannisters just seized all the food.

If the Lannisters had some actual pikes instead of those shorter spears, it would've been more interesting.

No, it wouldn't have. Sure a few more would've died, but the battle never would've been close really. Remember Ramsay Bolton's army was using spears and the Knights of the Vale on horseback destroyed that.

Foot soldiers have no chance against cavalry. Cavalry can move more freely on the battlefield, its quicker, and its more violent.

Littlefinger's, before he lost it to Tyrion on a bet.

Tyrion had never touched or seen the dagger before LF framed him with it. It was never ever Tyrion's dagger.

Well, that was quite a good episode. Top 5 for me. Made up for the length with sheer quality from start to finish.

All the gold made it in to KL. They said it. What was burned was all the food.

What was the space in time between when Jamie gave Bronn the sack of coins - which he took from a wagon full of gold - to the Dothraki hoard's arrival. It seemed like the same day.

That wagon didn't escape or wouldn't seem to have.

I think the show is making it another one of Littlefinger's schemes to start the War of the Five Kings (hence him mentioning the war to Bran in this episode).

Well it kind of was a scheme. He told that information to Ned and Cat to provoke them to action.

I couldn't hear what Tyrion was saying as he was watching Dany and Jamie. What was he saying?

Not the mention the Lannister army was spread incredibly thin. They were only a few ranks deep.

The scene where Drogon's fire turned the soldiers into ash which blew away was harsh.

It was Bronn. Jamie was wearing heavy armor and was shown sinking like a rock but somehow he'll make it out.

Or not.

Hi complete fanfic. In the books Tyrion acknowledges he won the dagger.

IDK maybe the giant carts of casks and wheat? If they are escorting a convoy from the Reach (where they grow food) to KL (their center of power, likely to be under siege soon), what do you think would be in it?

Tarly's exact words to Jamie were "all the gold is within the gates".

He first said it to Varys in the second or third season in the scene where Varys walks in on Littlefinger looking longingly at the Iron Throne.

Chaos isn't a pit. Chaos is a ladder.
