Little finger is going to kill everyone in the North with his army and take Sansa while Jon is traveling.

God I hope little finger winds up on the throne.

Jamie and Tarly and then Grey Worm scenes were suckage
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but-Tarly didn't say yes, did he?
He said he came because he was summoned, and he made a pretty blunt comment about Cersei when he said he knows what happens to people who don't answer her summons.

Jaime also pointed out Tarly beat Robert, in the service of the Mad King... aka a Targaryen.

Tarly made a point of saying he took an oath, and lectured Jaime on that. I first took that "oath" bit as him just being loyal to the Tyrells. But the thing is, if his oath is so important to him, IT'S AN EASY CHOICE. Both Olena and the Targaryen heir are on the other side. He's sworn to both... correct?

He fought for the Mad King, because duty. Everything in his history is duty. He's not a visionary, but he's a beast of a general. Unless he's assassinated (and I think he's too pragmatic to fall for that), he joins Dany's side, which would be an upgrade over Yara and the Ironborn.

As an aside, he was bitterly disappointed in Sam due to his perceived weakness. I think something Sam will do will undo that, and Sam will be restored as his heir before death.
Since the Tyrells are genetically done, I think the Tarlys are the next in line in that House, and that would make Sam the future leader of Highgarden.

I'm pretty sure Tarly will side with the Lannisters.

I've always taken Tarly as the guy who is a lot like Tywin in that he can see past a lot of the bullshite and into what will, from at least a military aspect, save his house. He knows how easy it is to align with Ceresi and then get blown up shortly after.

I wouldn't be surprised if he turned mid battle on them either.

That's how I interpreted that scene. Randall was won over by the offer of being warden of the south.

If he was fully committed to the Tyrells, he wouldn't have been in Kings Landing in the first place

Promise of raising ones house to a higher position after the victory is a big incentive.

Plus now they just had a massive win at sea and have a plan to kill dragons.

And they seemed to be convinced that Dany is an untrustworthy person

2 problems with that, Sam is in the Night's Watch and is studying to be a Maester.

Double oath breaker. He doesn't care much about his oaths. He breaks them constantly

I think it will be little Sam who will be the leader of house tarly when the dust settles.

Ok i thought this was a good table setting episode, along with one Ta-da that made me tear up.

I was confused by the greyworm sex scene bc i dont understand how this works. And furthermore if they are gonna make me sit through that many minutes, I wanna see what a eunich looks like so i can understand how sexual relations work with eunichs. Clever segway from missandei to Sam's hands.

Jorah-glad we got to see this but it was kinda making me squirm to watch all that puss and stuff. I was thinking he would have to drink melted dragonglass or something. Also, great segway from pus filled skin to digging into some food.

The cersei scene-i'm confused on why the Tarley men are in KL and not joined up with the Tyrell army. If they are really her bannermen, why aren't they with her? Did she not make the call to her banners?

Dany scenes-glad we got the dialogue with dany and varys. We needed to clear that up. I liked that varys was honest about who he serves-the people. Really glad to see Olenna. I hope that Olenna stays on dragonstone, so she can throw her two cents in all the time. Do we know which boats the tyrell army were on?

Jon/sansa/LF- i enjoyed Jon's threat to LF. Was kinda hoping there was gonna be a mother/father reveal down there but threatening LF works too. He will use this time to dig in to sansa without Jon around.

The boat battle-hated the sandsnakes scenes and i am totally ok with them dying. Theon hopefully stays lost at sea forever. I want to feel bad for him, but I just can't anymore. Maybe he will slip off that board like Jack in Titanic...one can only hope.

Arya/nymeria-our Ta-da moment of the night. I was all teary eyed until Nymeria turned her back on arya and walked off. Hoping this won't be the last time we see her.

Hodors are too busy jerking off to the nude scene. That's all they come for

The "is it the worst ep ever" thread is longer right now than the Hodors thread

That surgery thing was gruesome and painful t watch, and greyscale isn't even a real thing!

Kudos to the makeup people on that. Jorah looks awesome, and the oozing under the scabs was delightful.
