I considered it, yes.
I wasnt sure if it was a honor or a chore to send the white raven but Hugo answered

Well the Umbers were surrounded.
Wildlings and white walkers to the north
Boltons to the south east and south west
Karstarks nearby too.
Aligning with the Boltons was a solid idea at the time

Is episode 10 going to be 69 mins?

Well since the show didn't do Alys Karstark marrying Thenn, yeah...safe to assume those 2 houses were wiped out last night for the remainder of the show
They didn't show pedo karstark die so who knows. Probably irrelevant now. They lost and will die to wildlings or white walkers or mormonts anyways if they didn't die at Winterfell

A solid idea would have been going to the wall and talking to the lord commander of the nights watch and figuring out why he led the wildlings through instead of blindly throwing support behind a psychopath.

They don't make mention of them having any sons in the books I don't think.
And I thought Greatjon only had the 1 son, who probably bled to death near Winterfell, and the Karstark who Robb beheaded had what, 2 other sons that were killed by Jaimie?
Jon's got a pretty good record of massacring houses and ending bloodlines.

I think the show fricked up a lot of the finer details of northern allegiances and it's all even more complicated with the Baratheon Host being in the Gift, in the books.
The show just dumbed it down to give the Boltons a bigger army for TV. Also to set the stage for littlefinger to "save the day"

I mean they kinda had to, it can be hard remembering so many damn characters IMO

This may be obvious, but did Sansa 'set' the hounds on Ramsay or was it just convenient timing?

I was thinking one of Jon's archers set it down so he could raise his bow.

I think some of Jon's men set Ramsey in there and opened the doggie doors as they left the kennel. Right about that time, Sansa asks Jon where is Ramsey and she goes down there.

Sansa gets to claim the kill regardless of the logistics.
Her first kill was Ramsay Bolton. Not a bad trophy IMO.

Take this in the spirit in which it is intended, but I love that little girl.

Mormont. Where better too find a cure than Oldtown.
Asshi maybe. Jorah is a solid pick though.

The one question that has been bothering me:
How are they going to get Wun Wun's body out of the courtyard of Winterfell?

They had already moved it by the end of the episode.
