So was that our last episode 9 of GOT ever? Lots of talk of them shortening the final two seasons.

It's too late to do Manderly justice, now that we've already had the Starks take Winterfell back from House Bolton.

Just wanted to say that this episode has a 10.0 rating on IMDB with over 20,000 votes. It won't last, but that's extremely impressive.

Sure, the Sansa keeping quiet about the Vale army and Jon charging in after the Rickon incident even though the plan was to lure the Bolton's in was kind of frustrating.

Yup. I'm not gonna say anymore cause it looks like I'm in the minority. I'll just wait til lunch time and post in next week's thread I guess.....

What happened in the episode was great, but did anyone not feel a bit letdown that it was kind of predictable?

The predicability is why I liked Hardhome more than BotB. However, just because we expected the outcome doesn't mean it was a letdown. Its like going to a 5 star restaurant and ordering a steak (I'll have one Ramsay getting killed with a side of Dragons please) and being let down when you get the best quality of what you ordered. Plus they gave us a free dessert (Ramsay getting killed by his own dogs).

Oh I fully agree. As I said what was done was great, but in Episode 9 in this show I expect some sort of turn

how was it predictable? for the first time since the books were written we finished a story line with a Stark happy ending. it took 20 fricking years to get to this point

predictable would have been Ramsay destroying Jon's army then taking sansa out back and arse fricking her

Predictable is what we got, and I don't think there's any other way to say it. Just like the Arya storyline. There is no way Arya goes away for 2 years to just die by some other trainee. Jon Snow isn't being brought back to life to be killed again in the same season.

I said it was great TV, but in my head the episode was exactly what I expected, even to the point with Sansa getting to finish Ramsay off, which was extremely satisfying

That could be the greatest "Medieval" battle scene ever... big screen or TV.

With the preview of the Frey/Lannister feast, anybody think by the start of next season that they'll be riding north to take on the Starks at Winterfell?

The episode was predictable but also was satisfying, beautifully shot, and just extremely well done. That said, it was just a battle, for those that want action there are tons of action movies and shows out there. This show thrives because it is plot and character driven. What I am getting at is that I think, long run, the show would have been better off giving us the GNC with all of it's twists and turns and reveals. In the end though this episode delivered with just a straight brute force take back of Winterfell.

First off that was an amazing episode and shot superbly.

Lady Mormont mean mugging Ramsay was fricking great.
Ramsay's end was satisfying enough.
Glad Davos and Tormund survived. Was worried one of them would bite it.

It might just be me but Yara's arse looked pretty good in them pants she was wearing. I wonder if you cleaned all the shite off her if she would be bangable.

Right there with the opening scene of Gladiator and the battle scenes from Braveheart.

She looks better as Yara than she does normally... in my opinion.

Red Wedding Pt. 2. Why do I think Arya might be involved?

So does Ramsay telling Sansa "I am part of you now" kind of confirm she's pregnant?
