There's nothing that indicates Lyanna was raped. Robert was obsessed with her and couldn't bare the thought of her loving anyone but him. He convinced himself and others that she was kidnapped and raped.

It would be completely out of character for what we know about Rhegar, he was highly thought of by pretty much everyone not named Robert Baratheon. It would be like them revealing that Pod is turned on by little kids or some shite. It's not crazy in this world, but it's completely out of left field for the character
Just because she said that thing about Robert being faithful, doesn't mean they are comparable. Robert is just a boar of a man, likes drinking fighting and frickin. And she's forced to marry him
Then pretty boy Rhegar comes in and sings her a song and tells her that he's not happy in his marriage either and he wants to have a child that's the fricking savior of the world. She gets over the fact that he's married and boom they get together.

What she says about Robert/Rhaegar is that Rhaegar (unlike Robert) doesn't seem the type to visit whorehouses.
There is also evidence that Elia Martell (Rhaegar's wife) was kinda cool with the whole thing.
I don't think Lyanna was completely caught up in faithfulness. I think she just thought Robert was kinda sketchy.

What if Sansa suggests to Jon that he should make LF the hand of the king?
Posted on 6/28/16 at 6:58 am to iluvdatiger
I don't see her doing that.

Walder Frey was the Steve Spurrier of the Seven Kingdoms.

The Bastard Bowl and The Winds of Winter were definitely the 2 best back to back episodes so far in the series. We knew there had to be a house cleaning leading into the final season but damn, Cersei, just damn.....
There is a lot to love about the GoT TV series but one thing in particular that stands out is that the writers are not trying to deceive viewers by intentionally deviating from what many fans have predicted/hope will happen. Daenerys crossing the Narrow Sea with her dragons and armada was one of the most epic scenes in the history of TV reminiscent of a similar scene in Troy.

I seriously think Sansa will make all of the simple minded think she is in cahoots with LF and is a bitch and deserves to die, but it will all be a ruse. She is going to play LF and end him.
Sansa siding with LF over Jon would make no sense considering where her story has brought her. She knows what he is. She is gonna deceive him and frick his life up. That is why they are sowing those seeds now.

The problem is Troy went downhill from that scene

Agreed. LF is going to die the death of a thousand cuts from from Sansa. The funny thing is, he thought he was crafting her into his own personal weapon, and it's going to backfire on him in glorious fashion.

Tyrion's role this season hasn't been as prominent as in previous seasons, but the few times Dinklage has been on screen he has really delivered. I won't lie I teared up a bit when Dany pinned the Hand on him. I can't wait to see him finally ride one of the dragons.

That's my thought as well. Sansa is not on board with LF but she is still slightly scared of what he can do, hence the concerned look.

It takes more than a little finger to make a hand.

Davos is going to be Jon's hand. There is no other choice.

Yep. Sansa is going to get LF. The only way she turns on Jon is if Jon does something to cause her to turn on him and I don't see that happening.
People have been coming up with some crazy theories or are saying they don't want to see predictable things like Jon & Dani get married. At this point in the story there has been a lot of groundwork laid. Things should be somewhat predictable because we know the characters and we know their story arcs. If random crap starts happening or characters start acting in ways that are out of character then it becomes bad story telling.
Part of the reason people think it's too predictable is because we have been picking apart the story on the internet for years. Difficult for any story to stand up to that kind of scrutiny. If you take it for what it is and just watched the series unfold, maybe binge watched it, with no nitpick analysis then I bet the story flows and "predictable" doesn't describe it. Case in point, I knew about R+L=J for years, the scene in the ToJ just confirmed it for me. Satisfying sure. But for a pure Hodor I bet the reveal was so much more shocking and satisfying, like whoa, mind blowing.
I kind of wish I was a pure Hodor at times so I could enjoy this series more.

There's many ways to interpret that scene.
Yeah. If we are truly thinking about Sansa's character, I don't think even she knows how to feel. She's happy for Jon, obviously, because many times she is smiling or at least looks touched. She's incredibly concerned about LF, made very clear by her expression after she makes eye contact with him.
She has already told Jon that she doesn't trust LF and that she considers Jon a Stark, so I don't think that's it. Jon gave her the Lord's rooms because she deserves them, so she knows he's not trying to claim Winterfell. It could very well be that Sansa is happy for Jon but is truly worried about what power might do to him. She has seen only the negative effects of what power does to people. She wants Jon to remain humble and honest and true, but her experiences may prevent her from really believing that it can happen.

Does Winter make it all the way down into King's Landing and Dorne?
Does it affect any of the regions across the Narrow Sea?

I'd love to see it snow in King's Landing next season. And I think it will.
