Unless Jon's heritage is confirmed and accepted (to the people not to us), I can't see the North lying down for an invading Targ Queen, they suffered under her father as much as anyone.

Honestly, this is where in the books I think Nymeria might come in-- have them swarm landed dragons like Raptors on a T-Rex.
That said I actually think GRRM might have them kill Littlefinger if he survives to the end- it's a perfect ironic death for arguably the smartest and most resilient character in the series-- somehow scheme his way to not just survivng but say getting his initial on poon goal- Riverrun only to be torn apart by wolves.

Not sure how those wolves get to the dragons. Even the North's best defense (Moat Cailin) is totally negated by dragons.

Yes, she was, but when the Dothraki found her in the desert she was bleeding from her lady parts. So it is believed that she is no longer barren.
