Is there any chance Jamie is the one to turn on the Freys? What if Jamie's deal with Edmure was that if the Tullys pledged fielty to the Lannisters, get the Blackfish out of the way, and they agreed to march with him (possibly against King's Landing and the High Sparrow); Jamie would help the Tully's wipeout the Freys, and give them back their ancestral home?

PLEASE let this happen!!!!

Could be a prelude to them marching to Winterfell. Even a hint of a Stark resurgence can't be good news to Walder Frey.

Not directed at you NIH, WE ARE NOT GETTING LSH

Let it go people. Just like we're not getting the GNC. They don't have enough time left in the series to do all that. They're gonna work with what they have.

I say LSH more believable than Jaimie turning on the Freys.

This, I think.

The KsotV can't stay as an occupying force in WF...yet it will be defenseless without them (I don't think Ramsay could seige stock the castle AND feed that huge host simultaneously)

So WF is a huge ripe apple. Question is will Jaime help pick it or not?

I don't see anyway they introduce LSH this late in the game. The BwB may be the ones to crash the Frey/Lannister party, but LSH won't be part of it.

I could see D&D plugging Arya into the LSH role, now she's back and so is Sandor...

Eta: but not as UnArya. Just Arya wrecking shite...maybe with some Nymeria help.

Gawd, that would rock.

I like the similarities of Tyrion with Dany, and Jaime with Jon. Kind of like how Jorah was Dany's mentor and Jeor Jon's mentor.

I can't wait for Tyrion to have his special saddle made...for an enormous "horse"

The Lannisters are related to the Fry's through Jamie's aunt. Would he kin slay? He didn't seem to care much for his Frey relatives in the books.

And if Tommen dies due to Cersei, he will have 0 loyalty to the Lannisters, the crown, and anyone else... except for Brienne who is loyal to the only remaining Stark in Westeros (south of the wall)...

That depends on how many houses of the North will come to Jon's aid. The Manderlys, Glovers, and Dustins should have enough men for the task. I think they'll rally around the Starks. The north is extremely loyal to the Starks and don't give a damn about the south; so I think we have another battle. This time it's gonna be against the Lannisters. That's a big if Jaime decides to march north though. I don't see it happening.

Remember his attempted escape from Cat/Rob?

He crossed that line long ago.

If Lancel/Tommen die the Lannister family would permanently be fractured. Cersei probably flees to Casterly Rock where we see Dany land next season.

I think Cersie has to die for him to go...for him to have no more reason to head south.

But, I also think Jaime will be "on hand" for her death at this point.

All hail the VQ.

Beats me.

General ?:

Did Tywin infer that The Rock was broke before he died? Or was that just crackpot lore?
I honestly don't remember where I got that idea from.

Tywin said to Cersei that the last gold mine they had went dry, if I recall correctly.

I think those guys are on to something
Frey would have to betray jaime to get him to act and reneging on his deal with edmure could do it. Jaime made the deal and got riverrun back for the freys quickly and painlessly. If walder kills or tries to kill edmure and his wife/baby to end the fully threat then Jaime may very well turn his army loose on the twins. He's there, he's already pissed that he's not back at home, and we know he doesn't think much of them to begin with

I like it

Jaime told Edmure he doesn't give a shite about anything but Cersei and getting back to her. So I think it's pretty much a safe bet that he'll be going south at the end of this episode.
