And onto the "Dorne ships wasted a trip" comment. Dany still needed ships. Dorne is a Mecca of trade for a lot of things like wine. I'm sure they were happy to ride a fleet of empty cargo ships (which will be filled with food, horses, and weapons) to Dany to show her their loyalty and to meet her in person.

Given that the historical Tyrell/Tarly relationship is a similar analogy to Stark/Bolton...does Randyl make a move here and declare for the Lannisters at the last sec?

I doubt it.

But I'm really curious about Sam's motivation. His father knows where he's going, so I don't see how he's going to get away with what he did.

I think Euron either allies with the Lannisters, which would be stupid (unless they want to inflate the remaining Ironmen's numbers) or he usurps the dragons with a dragon horn. If the show does use the horn, and keeps the fatality aspect of it, I think Dany eventually gets control of it and Grey Worm sacrifices himself for her.

Does anyone else think Tyrion will be having a hard time in Dorne? Sure, he killed Tywin and is allied with Dany, but I expect at least some "never trust a Lannister" talk from the Sand Skanks, and they aren't known for their rational behavior.

She does if Euron steals them away with it. It's a commmon plot device. Right now, Dany is pretty much invincible. Something has to happen to drive the conflict, and I don't think it will be the WW, until the end. That will be Jon's fight for most of the remaining story.

Because of her unburning-ness? It kind of bugs me that the horn is only mentioned when Euron shows up. There doesn't seem to be a reference to it in what we know before that time.

Unless she killed them all, which she didn't, the masters could rise again. Plus, your point about Daario is right. He just likes pussy and money. I don't think he gives a shite about maintaining a government. Plus, how loyal to her will is he going to remain as time goes by, given that they will likely never see each other again?

The masters have been defeated and they know what Dany will do if they tried to take things back. Daario and his men are sell swords not politicians and a police force so I can see them just giving up after a while but we might never hear from or see Daario again becuase his storyline could be done.

This is what I said concerned me a few weeks ago. I could not have whiffed any more if I tried.

In that last episode Q&A, he compared it to a play that was very popular with people at the time but hated by critics (which is already a weak argument because critics loved the episode). He basically implied that it was a popular episode because it was just fan service for the dumb masses.
