I know I'm jumping the gun on this: for episode 9, which version of Rains of Castamere will we here? The instrumental from last episode, the sung version from season 2, both, or a totally different version?

Both of those versions for the rains of castamere are amazing. They missed bad though on the bear and maiden fair credits song.

GRRM told them that he plays a significant role in what's to come, and they killed him anyway for a scene that could have served the same purpose using any nameless Dothraki.

I think any nameless Dothraki can still serve that purpose. No one, even book readers, will remember who he is after being absent for 5 seasons, and having an incredibly minor role at that.

We better get a lot of the Hound and Arya this episode. I've been kind of disappointed in the handling of Arya this season. I was expecting her to be more the main character of this season along with Jaime, like how Ned and Tyrion were the main character in the respected seasons. They've been taking it pretty light with her so far.
Really hope we get the ferry scene this episode. Definitely one of my favorite scenes in the novel.

What was that video where they had actors expressing their views on some topic or another, and that actor just said "Hodor" once and they had a really elaborate viewpoint in captions.
