Just rewatched the episode and Edmure's wife was definitely not one of his daughters or granddaughters that he introduced. Lol well done Lord Frey, the look he gave Robb after the veil came off was great

I agree that if they were out to kill the Tullys, Edmure be dade, but Blackfish may have escaped. They may have also kept one or both as hostages, so the rest of the Tully's (if they weren't with Robb's men) won't attack.
I hope we get some of the immediate aftermath of the RW in the finale, to clear at least some of the confusion.

I highly doubt they offed Edmure. Frey is so desperate to marry off all his kids as it is, he had the King of the North killed because he didn't marry his daughter. Why would he kill off Roslin's new husband if he'd have to find her another?
