I would say almost everyone is willing to accept the fact that he's dead, even if they don't like the way his story was handled. If there a gripe to be had, it's not that they didn't show his head rolling through the snow.

It's kind of gross that they would hook up, but not really for that family.

No chance they hook up. Dany dies in the great battle. Jon Snow brokers a peace between WWs and humans. The cycle repeats 1000 years later. More money to be made.

Agreed. No way that they get married, aside from the fact that it's gross. It doesn't fit in with the narrative to make Queen Dany & King Jon get married and rule together--it's way too cheesy for ASOIAF.

My first time going through reading the books I was bored with Dany chapters, so, I'll go with her. I didn't really care all that much for her character until I saw her naked and fell in love.

If this story ends with peace negotiations, I'll literally stroke out...well ok figuratively, but good grief. Either the White Walkers wipeout a totally depraved humanity, or humanity comes to it's senses and destroys the unnatural abominations from the north. Anything else would be a letdown, and a cop out.

Bran? I don't even know what he has left to do. He's sorta completed his quest to find the 3 eyed raven, so I don't really know exactly where his story goes from here.

If Jon fails, everyone dies.

Dany just always seems to find a way to seize defeat from the jaws of victory.

Whaaaat? If anything Brans story will only get infinitlly better now that he's found the 3 eyed raven

Keep in mind that she now has Tyrion at her side on the show, and will soon have him at her side in the books. So she has that going for her.

Yeah, they don't really strike me as the kind of guys who broker peace deals.

I'm pretty sure she'll be toast at the end of the series. She won't be ruling Westeros.

This. he has a couple quests:

1) Rightful King - FAIL
2) protect the realm from the WW - FAIL

Stannis = FAIL

If I had to watch 6 seasons of Dany wondering around the fricking desert for her to have an unfulfilled story line, my head may explode
