And I hate to delve back into it, but as I continue to monitor the Hodors (my former comrades) - Kashonly is asking if Sansa is on Arya's list
this is the best thread of all. It's like Kumbaya in here.
This is what a thread about a show should be like. The Hodor thread is run by facists and idiots who don't pay attention.

She's Queen Regent and has power until Tommen comes of age, at least I think.

But.. Westeros with the exception of Dorne is paternal lineage. So a male would be over Cersei.
Yes, but Cersei is the only left on Tywin's line who isn't king, a Kingsguard, or wanted for murder. Males come first, then females, and then uncles and their children.

Tywin's line doesn't mean shite with regards to rule. Sure we know Tommen is the product of Lannister incest, but officially it's the Baratheon line that now inherits the throne.

And none of that changes the fact that Cersei is in charge - until Tommen comes of age - she will decide who the hand is, she will run the small council - heck - she will decide who gets Casterly Rock - unless Jaime has a change of heart.

why not just pardon him and command him to go to Casterly Rock?

Sure - but Cersei now has final say so of everything that happens in King's Landing.

Yeah, Jaime joined the Kingsguard in the first place solely so he could be next to Cersei. Cersei isn't sending him anywhere he doesn't absolutely have to be. There are plenty of Lannister cousins who can look after Casterly Rock.

How does someone go 4 seasons without knowing Aryas name?
I guess is shouldn't be surprised, I still have to explain to one of my roommates who Dany is from time to time.

Whole kingdom is about to go to shite
ETA: seems like an opportune time for Stannis or Dany to make a play for the throne

For sure. The only lannisters that knew what the hell they were doing were Tywinn and Tyrion, and they're both gone
With Cercei and a 12 year old running things I'd be very surprised if the lannisters hold on the crown lasted much longer. Especially if Cercei fricks up their relationship with the tyrells and the bank comes knocking

Stannis doesn't really care about KL right now and Dany is too caught up with worrying about her slaves shite to even know who Tywinn is

The Middle Ground thread is so much more refreshing than the Hodor thread when people know what's actually going on.

And it's refreshing to be able talk about what's going on without having to explain what happened 2 weeks ago to comotose Khal dragos while simultaneously being accused of being a reader every two seconds

Well, Jaime does but has no desire for power or authority. And then there's Kevan, but I see no reason why even the Middle Grounders would remember him.
