Speaking of Tyrion, how long will it take him and Varys to have Mereen running as smoothly as the sewers in Casterly Rock?

Gonna be hilarious whenever Tyrion makes Mereen the best storyline in the show, while Dany finds a way to bore us to death with dragons and Dothrakis

I have a fear that they will spend the entire season next year with Jorah and Dany playing "just missed you" until the final episode when she gets back to Mereen and Tyrion greets her with a "well I fixed everything. Can you go to westeros now?"

Btw there's a bunch of theories as to who actually wrote the letter

Now that we know the outcome of The Battle of Winterfell, I actually think the letter was written by Ramsay. He may have smashed Stannis after all.

Too many errors-

Ramsay Bolton, Trueborn Lord of Winterfell.

The letter had a pink seal, the symbol of the Lord of Dreadfort. Ramsay is Lord of Winterfell.

Your false king's friends are dead. Their heads upon the walls of Winterfell.

The Boltons flay not impale

I want my bride back.

His bride isn't at the Wall, she is with Stannis, had he defeated him in battle he would know this.

And I want my Reek

see above; unless Jon watches the show how would he know who Reek is

Keep them from me, and I will cut out your bastard's heart and eat it.

not Ramsay he would flay him

Also the letter didn't contain a body part, something that happens in every letter he sends.

Any precedent in the books for the Night's Watch doing something like that?

Yeah in the book Jon was abandoning the NW to hunt down Ramsay and that was breaking his vows thus they killed him
