This reads just like a Hodor comment and a Maester response

“WHAT ABOUT HARINGTON CUTTING HIS HAIR LIKE HE’S CONTRACTUALLY PROHIBITED FROM DOING??? DOESN’T THAT CONFIRM HE’S NOT COMING BACK???”

They will probably try to CGI the hair just because and in close ups as Mel is riding him it will look fake.
- That is for all those who were so pissed about how fake Drogon looked when Dany was riding off on him in Ep. 9.

I remember thinking when I started to read about how he was contractually obligated to keep his hair a certain length, I thought uh, has anyone ever heard of hair extensions? Or even a wig? Celebrities do both all the time. smh

He had no leverage so they were able to put it in his contract for a more natural look
It makes sense that if he signed a new one that he would have more leverage to eliminate that part of the contract and be able to cut his hair.
And it's not like he cut it a whole lot, he still has "jon snow" hair

I wouldn't be surprised if they asked him to cut his hair. They are doing everything humanly possible to keep people thinking he isnt coming back next year. Unfortunately for them, the nature of the beast dictates that we will all know the truth in the next few months after some Icelandic blogger post pics of Kit in his wardrobe.

It's really dumb to try this hard at something that's impossible to do
That's like me spending my entire life trying to fly like superman. I can try all I want, but I'm not going to magically grow superpowers

How do you know you can't fly like Superman?
Have you jumped off any tall buildings in a real attempt?

Maybe they just think most fans will have all of this out of their minds by the time the truth comes out and won't here it.
Also think they are trying really hard to be as courteous to GRRM as possible, hoping he finishes WoW before the season.

If they kill off Jon Snow permanently, I might make my first attempt

What if they just hold him out of next season.

I just can't see myself giving a shite about this show/book if Jon Snow is dead forreals.

You know you'd still watch it. I said the same thing after the Red Wedding, and I know a few people said the same thing when Ned got offed in season 1 because they thought he was the main character.
But I don't think any of us have to worry about it. All Snow's death would do is prove that GRRM is either a horrible storyteller or nothing but a trolling SOB. I don't see him risking his literary reputation just to troll a bunch of his fans.

Jon snows death is on a completely different level than the red wedding
The Red Wedding set off a billion things into motion
Jon's death does the opposite of that.

Would be just as retarded if not more as if they keep him dead.

You'd still be back.

The point being is that people were looking to the haircut as a sign he's not coming back, whether or not the length of his hair is in the contract. It's simple to get that length back without it occurring naturally.
Posted on 6/17/15 at 10:02 am to ladyluckUGA
It could probly even occur naturally in the time frame though.. It didn't seem that much shorter... And it's probly styled down more than his character in GoT

I know. I'm not disagreeing with you

That's a good way to put it.
