Why do some people get so pissy about these GoT threads? I wasn't here for previous seasons.

I wasn't here for the first three seasons, when it was supposedly really bad (like people actually getting banned). But I was around for some of the Walking Dead threads that likewise turned into multiple page spoiler meltdowns. They would turn a 15 page thread into a 25 page thread in a day.

I don't know. We should be able to start threads and randomly exclude people from them. I tried hard to start a democrats only thread on the Poli-board and it didn't go over well at all.
The only 'spoilers' always always come from Hodors that find things out through the internet or friends.

Aside from child burning, and readers posting in the wrong thread, did anyone notice that Jamie agreed to allow a Martell on the small council? Where does he fit in? Is this correct?

Small Council= ????
King- Tommen I Baratheon
Lord Regent - Ser Kevan Lannister, Protector of the Realm
Grand Maester - Pycelle
Master of Whisperers -Qyburn
Lord Commander of the Kingsguard - Ser Jaime Lannister
Master of Coin and Lord treasurer -Lord Mace Tyrell

I would say it's beyond superstition now for the Red God. So the Red God gives believers the ability to cast a shadow baby, see the future, resurrect the dead, cast spells...

I guess we could say the Old Gods give their believers fireball hands, greenseers, wargs, what else?

Jaime might not know that Kevan is on the Council, which would change the arrangement.

Pretty sure there's no set formula for the small council. It's whatever the King commands

Doubtful. Kevan is smart like his older brother. He knows how important Dorne is.

Well literally everyone knows that except Cercei

Have any of the other religions proven to give their believers supernatural abilities the way the Red God and Old Gods have?

I think the faith of the seven is very anti-magic/sorcery so I don't think so

Jamie also hasn't been told
'she's been fricking Lancel and Osmund Kettleblack and probably Moon Boy for all I know'.

Isn't the many faced god just the rarely prayed to death portion of the faith of the 7?

think its the Stranger

quote:

The Faith worships the Seven, a single deity with seven aspects or faces, each representing a different virtue. Worshipers pray to specific aspects of the Seven for help and guidance depending on their need. This aspects are:

Father, or the Father Above, representing judgment. He is depicted as a bearded man who carries scales, and is prayed to for justice.
Mother, or the Mother Above, representing motherhood and nurturing. She is prayed to for fertility or compassion, and is depicted as smiling with love, embodying the concept of mercy.
Warrior, representing strength in battle. He is prayed to for courage and victory. He carries a sword.
Maiden, representing innocence and chastity. She is usually prayed to to protect a maiden's virtue.
Smith, representing crafts and labor. He is usually prayed to when work needs to be done, for strength. He carries a hammer.
Crone, representing wisdom. She carries a lantern and is prayed to for guidance.
Stranger. An exception to the other aspects, the Stranger represents death and the unknown. Worshipers rarely seek favor from the Stranger, but outcasts sometimes associate themselves with this god.

not sure but for a fee they will kill whoever you want

'Do you have any idea how costly they are? You could hire an army of common sellswords for half the price, and that’s for a merchant. I don’t dare think what they might ask for a princess' LittleFinger
