Man I just finished. That might of been my favorite episode since Blackwater.
I liked it better than Blackwater just for the simple fact that it gave us so much that we've been waiting on in the books. Tyrion with Dany, Jon killing Whiter Walkers with Vayrian steel, and Jon staring down the Great Other/Nights King. This episode was just so fulfilling with things we've been waiting for (for freaking years...damn that fat man

Yes. The dudes on horses and the one john killed are "the others" or white walkers.

Yea that makes sense. If the kid had been dead for awhile, his eyeballs and skin was already like that when he was turned zombie.
What was the deal with the boat driver? Why was he all cloaked up and hidden? He was rowing sooo slow.

For sure. I probably agree with you. I need to let the dust settle before I call it my favorite though.

He had to row slow so that we could be the "come at me Snow" moment.

I would have pushed that boat driver out of my way and started rowing my arse off!

Anybody else disappointed that girl wildling didn't make it? I hate when they introduce a potential interesting character only to kill him/her 5 mins later.

My reaction was "stop looking at the Night's King and row/haul your asses back to the boat now!!!!"

When the Nights king raised his arms I thought he was going to drop them suddenly as the wights ran after the boats in the water and the show was gonna cut to black there

And lost in all of the stuff that went down in the episode was Reek (or that might've actually been Theon) telling Sansa about Rickon & Bran. That was yet another satisfying morsel that D&D gave us. Now a major character (other that Reek and Ramsey) knows that they are alive.

Needed at the Wall ASAP: Valyrian swords
A little background book info from before the time of the show: Dark Sister is the name of a Valyrian sword owned by the Targaryans which was last in the possession of Brynden Rivers, aka Bloodraven, aka the Three Eyed Raven whom Bran was last with north of the Wall.
I have only given this info to say I would love to see Hodor, controlled by Bran, wrecking shop on some White Walkers with Dark Sister.

I could definitely see that happen. That would be freaking badass.
