Look for the link posted recently in here for the 4th and 5th books combined. It is supposed to help them flow better, though I haven't read them that way yet.

Well I finally got to Renly getting capped by the shadow in the book so I think things will pick up now.
But now he's done, where the hell did all this gay shite from the show come from? Unless I accidentally passed it, there was no dude boning between him and Loras. Did the HBO show say "Damn, this dude has a rainbow guard. He must like the D"?

It's implied in the books. HBO did it for shock value.
