I'm sure plenty of people are aware of what happened with OMLandshark and that he got banned last week for some really petty crap and he just backchanelled me asking if I would get a help board thread going to free him and get support from this board to vouch for him. Would a help board thread work?

I would like to see him back in time for Man of Steel discussion and would like to hear his thoughts. Admins, please release my friend. :(

I like the guy but I don't think I would vouch for him. Check out pg 57 of this thread & read his post. He got Tebow to help him and within 2 hours he was posting in the nonreaders thread again.

Someone with a bit more clout should start the thread. I think a non reader himself would be best. I don't watch the show so i wouldnt know anything about drama in GOT threads. I'm just trying to get a TD buddy unbanned.

He got drunk during the Red Wedding and started posting something in the non readers thread, he got a PM from the admins telling him to stop posting in that thread. Next day he posted his apology in this thread, pg 57,had Tebow copy and post in the non readers thread. Later that day he post in the non readers thread again and was banned.
Now that the season is over they will probably let him back.

Well that sucks arse. Granted he shouldn't have done it because we've all been warned but it's a bit much to keep him banned IMO.

Because no one has ever made the mistake of getting drunk and posting stupid shite in a thread on somewhere other than the SEC Rant ever.
Like I said, if someone will start it I'll gladly support his reinstatement. I'll leave it at that because this really isn't the thread for that discussion anyway.

I don't think a lot of the readers realize that their mindset is totally different of what a non-reader's is. They look at characters a totally different way because they have a greater understanding of that character's past and/or future and that understanding is far greater than that of a nonreader. And most do a good job of not spoiling anything but some can't help it. It accidentally slips sometimes. For instance, in this thread I now know of a character that hasn't even been introduced yet. Although, I may be in the wrong here if unintroduced characters can be brought into this thread. I'm still a newbie to this thread.

whoa he's not permabanned or anything. even i have gotten suspended for not heeding admin warnings
