She's right about the petition people being crazy.
I mean, damn, it's a TV show.
Gonna say that too when your team gets cheated by refs? "Hey man, it's just a game!"

No. Acting like you're owed something other than what you got from a piece of art is entitlement...

doesn't get much worse than people saying mean things over the internet.
... especially when people express that hostility through directed attacks on other people. Yeah, no shite there are worse things than people yelling at you on the internet. I imagine most people believe that platforms like Twitter are a place for everybody. Are they actually a place for everybody if people have to regularly shut down accounts to stop idiot bros from sending them death threats?
But please, continue on being an adult who thinks this absolutely juvenile behavior in service of tv show is totally rational.

I've seen her tits, so I'm siding with her on this one.
Besides, I really don't give a shite if someone is offended because an actor defended their show.

I did when the Saints got screwed by the refs... Yeah it sucked, but LOL if anybody thinks they can change the outcome after the fact.

So people can’t petition for what they want a company to do with a property they love?
They can do whatever they want, but it's still crazy when it's over something as inconsequential as a TV show.

That was a delicious melt.
She’s really upset.

It says something about the people criticizing an actress who was asked a question in an interview just because that person feels a misguided, entitled ownership of a piece of art.

You should re-read the point of the petition. It's in the OP.

Never said or implied this.
I can tell you're really upset with how she's being treated. Any particular reason why?

People dont want to hear it but she is basically correct in what she is saying. Maybe no the verbiage but the content
Very few shows that gets the viewership and attention for so long, like GOT did, can really end and satisfy everyone. It will always be a debate and most times, people will be disappointed. IT is hard to live up to the expectations people have when a show is as good and as followed as GOT was.
People get emotionally attached and people feel entitled to get what they want. When they dont, its going to be a negative reaction from them..

I get that being part of the show she doesn’t like that it was heavily criticized and trashed but it’s not wrong to feel the writing quality of the show plummeted towards the last few seasons. I feel like some of these actors feel like they were personally attacked, but most of the criticism was directed to D&D

It’s not the just the ending, it’s how they got to the ending. The overall writing quality of the last 2 seasons just wasn’t as good. Characters were dumbed down, and actions rushed just to push the plot forward. D&D seemed to care more about making the show look cool because they wanted to finish the show as fast as possible. That’s where a lot of the criticism was.
I don’t think she realizes where lot of the issues people took with actually are.

The Dutch are total snobs with bad manners, don't know why but they treat people like the rest of the world is beneath them.
That's been my experience backpacking abroad.

She’s 100% spot on with the petition. It’s stupid.
I still say GRRM should receive the brunt of the discontent knowing the reason previous seasons were so good was because they had source material to work from. At that point the actors can’t do shite about the writing, D&D were never meant to finish the series with their own writing, and GRRM has dicked around living it up on Cons and cookbooks from the series. While making promises to his publishers that he’d get the next book out and drop hints on his blog to keep people hanging on for it.

So it’s ok to get praises and attentions when the show was great but somehow fans are ungrateful when the show is not? You can’t have it both ways, and it seems like she wants to sweep the rules under the rug when it doesn’t suit her.

It wasn't about satisfying everyone. Most everyone thought it was a hot mess.

I don't think I've seen a single criticism of season 8 that had to do with the acting.
Hell its been the opposite really with fans trying to tell themselves the performers saw this dumpster fire coming. 15M views
