Tywin's response to Robb's last comment in the above portion is also great.

He adds Robb's quote, "This one was only the watcher. Hang him last so he can watch the others die.", to his favorite quotes along with the comment, "That was stone cold. Made me wish you were my son."

So now do we have to start a "fake Facebook" reader's page? Wouldn't want to go being spoiled by those thoughtless facebook updates.

what did bard post and where?

In the GOT photo-bomb with Norman Reedus thread. He mentioned having Darryl in the woods to take out Uncat. It was minor, but I RA'd.

Why can't posters just refrain from posting that in non spoiler threads? They make a bad name for those if us who don't do that.

Really, I think the best practice would be for anyone starting a GoT thread to specify spoilers welcome or spoilers not welcome in the thread title. I did that in the GoT art thread and it worked out fine.

because it was all readers posting spoilers and the non readers knew to stay out

That's what I'm saying - put in the subject line whether or not spoilers are allowed in the thread.

I know the Reedus thread wouldn't seem to need such a warning but all it takes is one guy making the Zombie connection and either not thinking or not caring before posting. Best to be safe up front.

We would have a bad rep regardless. Max imus is smearing us in the LNST every chance he gets, with LE on his jock. Even Pai ge said we were "all douches who think we are higher than the non-readers" I don't see that.

Others say we sit around gleefully bragging about being able to mess up their entire show. I don't see that either.
This whole thing is just so silly.
It was better when it was just a spoilers thread and a no spoilers thread.

But the readers are also right in many ways. Some cannot help but to keep posting in there *cough* OML *cough*

Then this thread gets sidetracked talking about them.

Makes it harder to just enjoy the show.

I hope no one spoils their viewing, but this whole process is spoiling our enjoyment of discussing the show.

They were trying to kick out a guy who merely read the first book. Just trying to help him out since he'd get spoiled as hell here. Plus Hugo and Psych post in there all the damn time without being gangbanged.

I was referring to you asking to answer a question.

Hugo posts in there a lot too, but he made the list so they don't flip out at him.

Psych posts to get people to his thread and Hugo always posts clarifications. (which when I was a non-reader I really liked and I am sure many do)

Was going to answer on the Middle Ground thread if they asked, and I think it's why the Night's Watch and the Wildings won't join. Would have just said because the Wildings have no laws and wouldn't follow the laws south of the Wall.

There are only two ways to watch this show,

1. Catalog every line if history, every line of dialogue and every scene into your brain

OR

2. Read the books first so you're not confused

What was simply an innocuous scene in season 1 explains alot of what's happening in season 3

The non book readers are always asking questions that aren't really important and really just are needed for a frame of reference and they get pissed when you provide that for them like you ruined the whole fricking show

I just stay the frick away from both threads

Actually, no firm spoiler warning was given but I warned nonreaders in the middle ground thread to walk carefully with the art thread and them someone was kind enough to repost the safe artwork in the middle ground thread.

Who is the guy with the eye patch
What is going on between mormont and baristan selmy
Roosevelt saying hell send his bastard to winterfell (that was literally like a second and not seemingly important If you haven't read the books)
And on and on and on

In season 1 you see selmy in the kings council where varys names jorah as a spy. The focus Isn't on mormont or selmy being there it's just that dany is a threat

NTM that was 3 years ago so it's kind of forgotten. I wtch this with my gf and I have to say, remember this and that and I see that going on in these non reader threads

this is exactly what they dont want and i agree with that aspect. the previously on got does a good enough job for it. knowing what happens makes you point out these past scenes. let them make their own reveals. would you want to show the scene with walder frey showing what a miserable dick he is knowing whats about to happen. it points out crap that is upcoming and ruins the experience
