It's going down

quote:

. Episode 8, "The Prince of Winterfell" has Theon (Alfie Allen) receiving an important visitor. Arya (Maisie Williams) requests her third and final death from Jaqen (Tom Wlaschiha). Stannis' (Stephen Dillane) army heads to the big battle.

And what ever happened to this guy?

Wasn' t he some bad arse?

Yeah, but it's a little underwhelming.

I'm a book reader, and I like how on here we have two totally different discussions over the same thing.

Was about to ask about the episode thread for tonight, but I just made this one it..

i have been absent from these threads, so i apologize if my questions have already been discussed.

how do people feel about the jon snow story? im pretty disappointed so far. they havent built up half hand and jons adventure at all, which i feel will make jons big decision at the end, pretty underwhelming. I guess they want to keep it a mystery to tv viewers whether jon really is a turn coat or not. i just find the tv story kinda boring.

I like the differences in danys story. I felt qarth in the book was super slow and overall worthless by the end.

weasel soup has to happen tonight. in the book does jamie kill his cousin? i dont remember an escape attempt (but hes also not in the book a lot)

I wonder how they are going to do arya's third request. Do we get to see a fraction of the power of the many faced god followers or will it be underwhelming.

Tyrion sent a couple of men to free Jamie at Riverrun but he never killed his cousin or anything.

right i remember that. it was the messengers.

i like some of the changes, like robs love interest and renlys queen actually being involved earlier.

i just dont get the full direction of the season. a lot of things are developed very slowly and seems a bit underwhelming. it really just feels like they were just looking to get to season 3.

i think the blackwater/house of undying/jon w/ wildlings will set the stage for a hectic seasons 3 & 4. kind of like the dragons, ned's death, and jaimie's capture at the end of last season.
