The Entity

Barbara Hershey was nominated for an Oscar in that one if I am not mistaken. And Ron Silver played the shrink.

Not sure that one would be considered off the main stream far enough to be classified for this thread.

It was a good movie, based on a true story and during the whole, The Omen, Amityville Horror, The Exorcist craze.

Of all of those the interviews with the people involved IRL with The Entity .... made it the most believable imho.

I guess I’m not that adventurous when it comes to movies.

Being John Malkovich is the only thing that comes to mind.

YES. I remember being very shocked at that one. A really really interesting movie.

Was going to say this. Yes. Watched it three years ago and still remember many scenes vividly- particularly the final one.

How can we not include that one.

That is one of the most strangely satisfying movies ever made ..... I heard it referred-to as a masterpiece the other day and I really can’t argue with that. It takes three or four watches before you finally really get it.

There is a really good breakdown of that movie on YouTube that helps to make it make sense and, once you understand some of the subtle nuances you start recognizing the movie for what it is ..... a journey into a dark, seriously sick, mind.

I watched FAQ on Time Travel last night on your recommendation. I enjoyed it. I like British humor and it was entertaining.

Most Likable Song Ever

Full Movie

When I first caught this, I missed the opening credits and didn’t know who played Frank until the end.
