Peak American Halloween involves oak tree lined streets with the leaves mostly fallen but yeah, the California version is nice to see.

The part where he flys out of the house and passes by the airplane window will forever be one of my fav scenes.

Thanks for all of the suggestions. I will be checking some of them out this October.
As far as setting and the feel of Halloween, this fits the bill.
I enjoyed it for what it is. So bad its good type movie, which I know that's what it's intended to be.
