Any recommendations?

10 years old, so no PG-13 or above.

But browsing Netflix, Poltergeist is PG...so maybe G or below. Maybe I'm seeking something that can't be found...

tks

I don't want them to grow up and be like me...so that is a no.

Didn't you say this kid was ten? Am I that out of touch with ten year olds?

Hocus Pocus.

Watched Nightmare on Elm St when I was 5 with my dad. I still remember going to the video store and him letting me rent it. The bed death scene fricked me up for weeks. Always checked under my bed. My mom was pissed.

Monster Squad is the first movie that popped in my head but it had some cursing in it, it may be PG-13.

The Watcher in the Woods is PG and is pretty good.

The Witches is PG

The Ghostbuster movies are PG

I probably saw it when I was 10, but it is rated R, so that is an automatic "no" in my house.

but as far as kids these days go, a quick story...my wife is a kindergarten teacher and one of her students came in one day really, really tired. she asked what was going on and the kid said that he was up late the night before watching SAW. 5 years old...
