That about sums it up. I think the audience can at least entertain the fact that he may kill her. Maybe after the baby is born? I don't know, but I was kind of wanting a little more assurance or a plan on that.

Nah. Deep down he kinda likes his situation.
She manipulated him, but he also manipulated her to come back.
As long as he does't dear her doing him harm, he's in the same situation as most married men, married to a crazy woman.
Except she's fine. She is making a ton of money. Is a great frick. And won't threaten him if he doesn't withdraw from her.

So is the moral of the story that all women are crazy and deep down men love the crazy?

Ole Ben is doin pretty good with these two.
Don't know what it is about Pike... in some pictures, she's stunning... in others, kinda meh.
This picture was sweet and innocent in the beginning and fricking terrifying at the end.

I'd wife Pike, even if she was as crazy as Amy IRL.

Just went to see this last night with absolutely no background knowledge other than the basic, surface level plot...
Def didn't see the twist coming... enjoyed it all in all, but it was a long one...

I've had a thing for her ever since Fracture.
I just don't understand how a woman can look so vastly different in pictures. She can look like two different people.

I remember her from that bad James Bond movie. I worked at a movie theater at the time and had a huge poster of her in my room.

I never watched that bond film. I was a SC & RM bond fan. So I didn't watch any of the PB ones except for the famke one.
She was like 24 in that movie and she's still hot at 34.
I just really like that upper class vibe she puts off in this movie and in her lawyer roles.

Saw it last night. I enjoyed it but felt like there needed to be more resolution.
Also props to the wardrobe department for getting Margo the "protect your nuts tshirt"
I didn't know much about the story, but I see the foreshadowing in that now.

Talk is that there will be a sequel to both the book & the flim. So who knows what really ends up happening to her/the marraige.

I'm hoping there won't be a sequel. Right now, the story was great, and the future is up to our imaginations. If they screw up the sequel, it devalues the whole story.

As long as Fincher does it and everyone returns, I'm down. But they need to tread softly.

Even the best directors can't help a bad story though. Flynn has said it was the only way it could end. And I agree. Prison is lame. I hate when books have tons of twists and turns just to end how they're "supposed to." And Nick sure as hell wouldn't kill her. So does someone else kill her? That just means that Nick's problems are taken care of for him. Typical.

Can't wait to see this movie tonight so I can finally read last page 5

What makes you think they will have a sequel?
Posted on 10/10/14 at 5:27 pm to Dr. Shultz
How interesting would it be to see a relationship like theirs?
Husband wants out but can't because of the kid. Both super manipulative and narcissistic. Both choose to play the game to get what they want.
How do they handle life after all of it?

I don't. Keltic Tiger said it. I was just responding.

Sounds like a ton of marriages.
