Is the NYC version a dream sequence? Does it happen earlier in the movie, causing the Americans to nuke him and then leading him to reform AGAIN? Are there now 2 different Godzillas?
The top G-fans are speculating that we'll see King Ghidorah, but I'm still skeptical on that. Maybe a second one forms, maybe we get Biollante or Hedorah.
I'd rather they save Hedorah for a later movie, if we get down that path. I suspect we'll get a longer pause if there even is 3rd movie.

original King Kong and Frankenstein/bride of Frankenstein (which I basically consider one single movie done in two parts)
