Becoming a dad made me a giant p*ssy and these scenes affect me much more than they ever would have before.
Completely agree.

I think there's a place for the next to last scene of Coco in there.
I know what you mean. It’s hard to knock it down to just the top 5 though. Every Pixar movie seems to have that moment outside of the Cars franchise.

Finding Dory with her parents. Brave with her mother. Jesse’s story in Toy Story 2. Mr Incredible when he can’t fathom losing his family. Wall-E’s sacrifice. Remy’s desire to please his dad while acting the opposite. Someone mentioned A Good Dinosaur already. And I have a feeling that Soul is going to pack a powerful punch as well.

Am I the only person who found Riley’s bittersweet smile as she hugs her family more devastating than the Bing Bong scene? Something about the mixture of joy and sadness in that scene just hit me different.

I’m with you. When Inside Out came out, that was the low point in my life... and that helped me out. Sadness and anger were the only parts of my life, but that film made me recognize their strengths.

Just caught the opening. I saw it on and against my better judgement watched it. Seriously screw you Disney. That opening 10 mins is for me the most heart wrenching 10 mins of any movie I’ve ever seen. I saw it for the first time when my wife and I were trying to have a kid and were having complications, and the honeymoon jar that kept having to be used for something else was a very real thing for us. Instantly went back to that point in my life.

Yeah.... frick that movie way too real
