You, Argonaut, no matter how much you train, could never be an NFL player. There is literally nothing you could do to be able to run as fast, jump as high, or be quick enough to compete at that level. You simply have to be born with that ability. Yes it takes work to get to that level, but if you aren't born with it, you can't attain it by simply working hard.
No one can develop a 7' wingspan. You can't develop 6 more inches to your height simply by working harder. You're either born with it or you aren't.

These are all things that the combine measures. They aren't measuring how good of a football or basketball player you were in college, they are measuring how good your god given abilities are, literally, and combining that with what they've seen from you on the field.

If what your saying is the case, Rudy wouldn't of been offsides, and would have been an NFL Hall of Famer.

Impressive.

All of this is wrong. First, I recommend that you take a biology class. Then, you should read through the conversation again with that new knowledge.

I also recommend that you learn the definition of the word literally.

are they going to teach me how to get 4 inches taller? If so, sign me up. I've got 4 years of eligibility left at LSU. I'll help Will Wade as a walk on and be 10x's better than the token white walk on LSU has every year.

Actually, I think the force was best when it was mysterious and not explained in detail.

A lot of movies screw this up. Not everything has to be laid out and obvious. The force in the original trilogy was a mysterious unifying force. It had a dark and light side and you could move stuff around and shoot lightning with it. That was fine.

Then Lucas tried to get all scientific about it for no reason. He stuck in midichlorians and made a cool mysterious thing sort of boring and mundane. Movies usually benefit from a little mystery.

I can’t possibly upvote this hard enough.

Amen, amen, amen!

It’s best to NOT fully explain stuff like this and leave mystery.

This was my problem with LOST. My beef wasn’t with the things they didn’t explain, but rather with the stuff they over-explained, clumsily.

Often there’s just no way to explain something like the Force that’ll be nearly as badass as the indefinite concept in the audience’s mind, so it’s best to not even try.

It’s like women - sometimes they look better in revealing clothing or lingere that leaves you wanting more than they actually do naked.

No, but they'll teach you how human growth works. Let me know if you need help with any of your assignments.

n not talking about the whills or whatever - but I dont think midichloriens are the cause of the force, they are just a symbiotic organism that lives in all living cells and act as a conduit.at least that is how I understood it.

Unless you can clone those it wouldn't matter. Its still a mystic force, midichloiren are just abother force sensitive organism

Yes but midichloriens are biological organisms and it is heavily implied that there is a direct correlation between the amount a person has and how strong they are in the force.

If you can test and get accurate counts of the organism in your blood, you should be able to clone/replicate them. No way these simple microscopic organisms living inside cells are more complex than an entire human (Boba Fett).

And if they live in all cells of every living thing and the more you have the stronger the force.....

I’m wondering why they just didn’t inject more midiclorines in their blood stream for a power boost

That’s the problem of explaining fantasy
