Nah just a theory.
There are a lot of theories about Mel and her blood magic
She does see the future in the flames. Then convinces people it was her magic that caused it.
In the books she doesn't burn mance, actually uses magic to disguise him as someone else. This supports the targaryen/valyrian blood theory
Shes a mysterious entity with some of blood magic and shadow binding capability. We really don't know the whole story

Has anyone read or heard if D&D have access to The Winds of Winter manuscript while writing for season 6? I always assumed they would, since GRRM is presumably >80% finished with the book, and he would share it with them.
But, I feel like I've read somewhere that this is not the case, which would just be silly to me on both sides. Can anyone confirm one way or another?

There's a ton of holes in this theory, there's a possibility in the books but I see no way the show does it now

Yeah but if he just pops up for the fight, it kind of makes his whole redemption arc useless.

Not if they have a scene where the High Sparrow or a member of the High Counsel describes this man who came to the quiet isle much like they did with Sander in the books. Then, when they reveal that that broken, redeemed man was The Hound, people's heads explode.
Also, if Sander comes back, could D&D write the word "Yarp" into just one line of his dialogue? As a fan of the Cornetto trilogy, this would be a big :mindblown: for many GOT fan boys.

The faith militant is just as harmful as the crown. I don't buy them as a real form of penance

I felt the Hound was fairly redeemed by the end of season 4 TBH.
It seemed to me like he cared about Arya's safety and was "holding her for ransom" just to sound tough.
ETA: He saved Sansa too.

I've read the books & am wanting to watch the tv versions. Is there any other way to watch them except through HBO?
