I doubt they flashback for an elaborate fight scene. That's not GRRM or D&D's style. A flashback scene would be more dialogue driven to tell a missing part of the story.

Flynn: He’s part of an outlaw band. The group is using religion to justify terrorizing and extorting what they need from the people of the countryside. He appears in 2 episodes in season 6. He appears to be part of Lachlan’s band.

Japeth: Another member of the outlaw band is this lieutenant. He’s a “rough-and-ready type” with a strong physical presence, also appearing two episodes.

Holy shite. I haven't read the books, but- is it true that Stannis doesn't burn his kid in the books?

So- D&D takes an actor who's lost someone close to him in a horrific fire, and then randomly stuffs him into a scene where he burns his daughter... unbelievable. I'm surprised Dillane (the actor) didn't physically assault someone when he read that script; I would have. The director, the writer, someone- I would have taken the nearest blunt object and tried to beat their brains out.

The Lord of Noble Northern House casting is looking for a person from 25-50 years old. He is described as a "massive bear, and a temper to match". I think this one is going to be either a recasting of Greatjon, or his son Smalljon.

More likely Mors "Crowfood" or Hother "Whoresbane", imo. I'm betting that is where Sansa and Theon are heading. And it is where they will find Osha and Rickon. Osha did tell Bran (on the show) that is where she was heading when they separated.

Lord of Northern Stronghold casting is looking for a person from late 30s to 40s and is ruthless and calculating (and is a "frightening" lord). That doesn't sound like Ned either. I'm guessing it is either a Dustin or a Ryswell.

Maybe Arnolf Karstark? I know he is described as being very old and withered in the books, but D&D could reinvent him. There is also Harrion Karstark to consider.

Correct.

And it's unlikely that Stannis witnesses the burning of it happens in the books because he leaves his wife and daughter at the wall when he marches to Winterfell

I have to think he will be there when it eventually happens. I just don't know why they would even bother sending Melisandre, Seleyse, and Shireen with Stannis if they could just burn her at the wall.

Anyone been reading the Kit interviews? They are trying too hard to make it seem like he's gone for good.

Kits a big fat liar.

How many other cast members have tried to say they are dead this hard? They are clearly trying to misdirect

It's such a useless exercise

One of my favorite Stannis lines from the books:

quote:

Clayton Suggs - "A sacrifice will prove our faith still burns true, Sire."
Godry the Giantslayer - "The old gods of the north have sent this storm upon us. Only R'hllor can end it. We must give him an unbeliever."
Stannis - "Half my army is made up of unbelievers. I will have no burnings. Pray harder."

It truly is useless. The cat will be out of the bag once he's spotted filming on set or appearing in the filming locations.

'Kings Blood' has more to do with Targaryen blood than being "a king"

there is a Targaryen in the Baratheon family tree

Er, I thought that was what the whole burning him at the stake thing was about (though Jon put the kibosh on it by shooting him with an arrow)
