Naw, I like the complete silence of the end and the credits. It was really eerie.

I think that would still set her up for tragic meeting with the many face gods in the end.

IMO she will do the FM bidding (as well as kill Trant) and eventually be sent to Westeros to do a job in the north (she smuggles needle on this trip, with the intent to return it to someone like Jon maybe)

Well, since you bring up Trant, for any of us who have read the Mercy chapter, I think it's pretty clear that she's done with the Faceless Men at this point in the novels and soon the show. Once she kills someone for Arya's desire, then she's out I think.

I'm glad we got some of the Cat of Canals story for Arya... I always thought that would look cool on screen, and it did.

It would have been bad arse if the night's king would have said to Jon with his arm's raised "And now it begins" and Jon would have said back "No now it ends."

A nice tower of joy line.

Nah, the silence was great.

We know that there are still people who can work Valyrian Steel since Ice was broken down and turned into two separate swords.

Well they weren't able to forge a brand new sword. They took a greatsword and reforged it into two smaller longswords.

Supposedly the Valyrian steel weapons were forged using magic (which is why they evidently kill White Walkers). The knowledge of that magic may well be lost (for all we know at this point).

She has Valyrian and she has a wolf (atleast in my scenario)

That means she'll be around for a while IMO

It actually is a pretty solid theory, which is based entirely off of the history that no one really knows as facts

But the show has been much more upfront about the white walkers and squashed any dreams of that being the case

Judging from the previews, I have a feeling that Doran is plotting on seating Myrcella on the Iron Throne and will want Jaime on his side to support his claim.

I think the best part was the fact that Dolorous Edd's "FFFFUUUUUCCCCCCKKKK!" was the last thing said, I am pretty sure.

Which sounds like the shows abridged version of the Dornish Master Plan

Although if Tyrion gets in his ear with Dany in mind...

And needed a blacksmith trained in Qohor (city of sorcerers) to do it. They're still both smaller Valyrian steel swords.

Except it's not in places outside of Westeros like Essos.

My crackpot theory about Arya is that she will end up being the cause of Sansa's death, just like Nymeria was that cause of Lady's death. The direwolves are symbolic of their owners, and I think since Lady's died early on, it is foreshadowing Sansa's eventual death.

It's just a crackpot theory of mine.

Where is that Valaryian steel dagger that they tried to kill Bran with in Game of Thrones I forgot what Catelyn did with it?

Did they say in the books that there are still blacksmiths/sorcerers in Essos that can forge Valyrian steel? I guess I forgot that.

ASOIAF wiki says it's still in possession of Littlefinger.

Here's the list:

quote:

Blades known to still exist:

Heartsbane, the ancestral two-handed greatsword of House Tarly, currently in the possession of Lord Randyll Tarly.
Lady Forlorn, the ancestral sword of House Corbray, currently in the possession of Ser Lyn Corbray.
Longclaw, the ancestral Valyrian steel bastard sword of House Mormont. Currently in the possession of Jon Snow.
Nightfall, the ancestral blade of House Harlaw and currently wielded by Ser Harras Harlaw.
Oathkeeper, one of two Valyrian blades reforged by Tobho Mott from Ice. The blade was made for Ser Jaime Lannister, but he has given it to Brienne of Tarth for use in her quest to locate Sansa Stark. The blade was given its name, Oathkeeper, at that time.
Red Rain, the sword of House Drumm, which was stolen by them in a raid.[7] Given the name and coloring, possibly the ancestral sword of House Reyne.
Widow's Wail, one of two Valyrian blades reforged by Tobho Mott from Ice. Following Joffrey Baratheon's death, ownership of Widow's Wail has presumably passed to his younger brother, Tommen.
The dagger with dragonbone hilt wielded by Bran Stark's failed assassin, and currently in the possession of Petyr Baelish.
Valyrian steel arakh owned by Caggo.[8]
Valyrian steel axe reputedly possessed by House Celtigar.[9]

Blades with known fates:

Ice, the ancestral two-handed greatsword of House Stark. Following Eddard Stark's execution in King's Landing, it is reforged into two longswords (Widow's Wail and Oathkeeper).

Blades with unknown fates:

Blackfyre, the sword of Aegon I Targaryen. Carried by all Targaryen kings until Aegon IV, who gave it to his bastard Daemon, who rose in rebellion against the Targaryens, taking the sword's name for his house. Its whereabouts are currently unknown.
Brightroar, the ancestral sword of House Lannister, lost when King Tommen II Lannister of the Rock sailed to Valyria and never returned.
Dark Sister, the sword wielded by Visenya Targaryen. Its last known owner was Bryden "Bloodraven" Rivers.
Lamentation, the ancestral sword of House Royce, lost in the Storming of the Dragonpit.[10]
Orphan-Maker, the ancestral sword of House Roxton. Its last known owner was Ser Jon Roxton.[11]
Truth, a Valyrian steel sword last carried by Moredo Rogare of Lys.[12]
Vigilance, the ancestral sword of House Hightower. Its last known owner was Lord Ormund Hightower.[11]
