I think a lot of Feast will not see much screen time.
I kind of thought that as well.
There's just soooooo many characters at that point. I'm just interested in how they balance that.
And hopefully Martin doesn't croak or something before then.

how is that cheesy? Pretty unique and inventive sequence and was nominated for several awards

I think a lot of that will come down to GRRM's input. Some things that we think were insignificant in AFFC could end up being big deals after reading The Winds of Winter.

I mean moreso that I'm all nerd happy over a sequence not that the sequence itself is cheesy.

They aren't necessarily cutting ASOS in half. They are cutting it off at a certain point. I imagine season 4 will be parts of Swords, Feast and Dance.
Well, they've already said/hinted where they are planning on stopping season 3, which is about 2/3 through ASOS. So it's definitely possible some of Feast will be thrown in there to make it a full season. I would think the Dornish parts would fit in quite nicely with the second part of ASOS, but I don't see any way Dance would fit in there due to the timelines, and I think they would want to end season 4 with how ASOS ends, it's just an awesome ending for a season, and there are no good ending points in the early parts of AFFC or Dance.

BTW Access Hollywood has apparently been doing a countdown with articles from various actors who are in Season 2. The one they did with Liam Cunningham (Davos) had an interesting tidbit about the actors and whether they're encouraged to read the book.
Book Spoilers for Davos (Avoid if you haven't read the books)
quote:
Access: Have you read the books? Liam: No, I’m avoiding the books. One of the reasons is, Davos — he’s kind of a point of view character. He doesn’t actually do that much engaging, I’m told, and so they wrote this person as opposed to just seeing what his thoughts are. They’ve had to do a lot of writing for his engagement with [fellow new characters] Stannis and with Melisandre. I talked to the boys [David and D.B]. The boys said to me, ‘Have you read the books?’ And I said, ‘No, I don’t really like doing that.’ And they went ‘Well, we don’t tell anyone whether to read them or not, but we think it’s a good idea if the actors don’t.’ (laughs)… I think that’s fair enough.

Yeah it's gonna be nuts. But I'm going to leave it at that for those who haven't read the books.

I love this book series, but they could cut/shorten a lot of stuff for the series and I would be fine with it. I feel like I could skip whole chapters in the books and not miss anything important.
I actually think there are a few characters (won't say bc of spoilers) that you could never read any of the stuff from their POV and still follow the story perfectly

was something for Mesilandre but decided against it to put it on here. A little too graphic. Was trying to laugh to the guy being pissed but wanted to know more.
