How will this turn out.

Arya or Jon is going to kill Dany. Completely set up for it go down with her losing her collective shite. And nobody wants to see a repeat of the Mad King, so I doubt anyone would stop either one.

I just don’t understand the point of burning down the entire fricking city that you are fixing to rule over and live in.

"so they fear her"

even though she's conquered their fricking continent as well as eveywhere else she's gone

no, it took killing a million people and literally destroying the capital city to make them fear her

They grasp the concept. It’s just BS when Dany’s whole arc has been that of saving people and putting aside the throne to save lives.

Martin's best troll. Red Wedding was just the start of a series long troll.

I still don't understand why Drogon couldn't destroy the Iron Fleet last episode like he did this episode.

Well she’s an idiot for one.

I still am baffled that they fricked up Cersei so bad in that she didn’t do what Cersei definitely would do if she was written correctly last episode when she didn’t kill Daenerys outside the gates.

fricking stupid.

How many times should Arya have died in this series?

I counted about 3 times in just this episode so . . .

think it's the path to getting her there and the abruptness of it all.

This. It all comes back to having such short seasons. I mentioned it earlier in this thread how much she’s lost and how it makes since for her to be so emotionally distraught... but she goes to calm and reasoned (or at least willing to listen to reason) for 7 seasons and in 2 episodes she’s gone.

I don’t hate it as much as others in this thread but it does screw ip rewatches for me in future years.

All those great “Aw yeah, here comes Dany moments” like hatching her dragons, getting the Unsullied are somewhat ruined knowing what she does with it all.

Again, maybe if they had more time to show her slip into madness it’d be different.

I liked the episode. Battle of the Bastards is still my favorite battle episode but this was the best this season so far.

Tactically it was the smart move by Daenerys. The people will all love Jon but now they'll be scared as shite of her. Fear will keep them in line.

Dany ain’t living through the finale

I just wonder if Jon kills GW to get her

Danny isn’t living in Kings Landing Dragonstone is her home. They have mentioned this several times. Cersei got her people what they deserved. Everything that happened tonight was Cersei’s doing and fault.
