Not just that. When Drogon was fired upon, he was closer and a bigger target than his brother yet every single shot missed. It’s like what you see in most action shows or movies with the bad guys killing some extras 50 feet away but flat out miss the hero at point black range.

Was hoping the dragon would try to crash into their fleet taking out a boat or two

In Star Wars episode 4 which everybody loves the Storm Troopers couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn when it came to important characters so stuff like that doesn’t really bother me it’s been done throughout time.

Somebody correct me if I’m misremembering but in Bran’s vision of the Dragon over Kings Landing wasn’t it also snowing or was that a different vision.

No it was sunny hence the clear shadow. The snowing ones were from Dany when she was in the House of the Undying.

I think there are two different visions. One it is sunny outside (like we see in next episode) the other it is darkish and it looks like snow and/or ash falling.

I usually watch the episode over again sometime during the week but don’t plan to do that for first time in awhile.

So where exactly in King’s Landing where they?

Here’s KL shown through much of the show

Looks like they were standing in an abandoned parking lot. I’m assuming the battles and dragons ate up the budget.

That’s it. Thanks.

One thing that’s been bothering me. Why doesn’t that autistic frick Bran just take Dany to the tower of joy in the past like 3ER did him to prove shite to her without doubt. Bran should be a huge weapon unless it’s a Dr. Strange situation where he has seen the preferred outcome and him doing nothing is what he’s supposed to do.

The problem isn’t that she doesn’t believe Jon (she seems to), it’s that she’s afraid people will pick him over her.

We know she’s going to King’s Landing but I think the writers want us to think She is going for Cersei. Jaime lies his way to get close to Cersei and kills her. While Arya takes out Dany.

Close

He gets to KL but gets stopped before he gets the chance. Carried off and killed.
Arya gets close by using Jaime's face to stab Cersei as she looks shocked to see Jaimee in her chambers later....Mountain tries to intervene but Clegane shows up in time to take on his brother and exact revenge for a lifetime of wearing a burnt face.

At least that's how I see it playing out in some way.

What about the marriage. Seeing he brother profess his love for Lyanna may soften her to the idea of her and Jon ruling together. It doesn’t really matter now it’s pretty obvious we are going the mad queen route.

I just want some sort of interesting twist involving Bran. Like NK powers but for good.

I don't know how anyone could really defend that, to be honest. They went from Legolas to Stormtrooper as soon as Rhaegal went down.

We know. You're right. The difference is that this supposed to be the show that actually breaks those tropes.

Its basically plot induced stupidity until they need something "dramatic" to push the plot along.

Has anyone been able to come up with a somewhat reasonable theory as to why Cersei didn’t fire on everyone? Or does someone have an explanation as to why they would sail to Dragonstone instead of marching with Jon down the kings road?

These two just piss me off...
