Did you happen to catch the last five minutes of the show? They are dead. I didnt think about the number of WW being larger in the circle than what showed up at the godswood, but, if he was the first to bring somebody back from the dead then everything would have a trickle effect from him.
Can we stop calling people out for "not watching" when they ask a question? 2 of you fricks called me out for correcting a poster that forgot Lyanna, and now calling me out for just asking where all the other WW's where?
Yes, I know NK dying killed the Wights, it was never explicitly explained the WW would die too.
This thread is insufferable?
"BRO, DID YOU WATCH IT?"

I love that there is a new thread started every 5 minutes that could be easily discussed in here or answered in one reply. Good lord the page is clogged up.

It actually was set-up pretty well if you go look through all the signs. There were definitely some pretty strong theory videos that laid out all the info from the show that it could've definitely taken that turn.

It was alluded to several times in the show that taking him down takes down everyone.
No, it wasn't. It was explained it would take down "the army of the dead" meaning the Wights. The WW are not Wights. The NK was a WW. There are other WW, why can't they be special as well?
It's a legit question. Bunch of pussies here.

I am not bitching. I am saying that with her establish skill-set, and the current state of everyone in the show, anything other than sending Arya to King's Landing to stab Cersei in the back while she sleeps makes absolutely no sense from a tactical standpoint.
She kills Qyburn, takes his face, then kills Cersei. Hidden entrances are established. Of course, that would mean Maggie the frog was full of it. And I don’t know why Arya would kill Tyrion or Jaime, ending up with one of their faces.

I was joking when I asked. Then I proceeded to give you my answer.
If you liked the episode, keep posting in this thread. We could use the help.

And im sure a ton of people didnt.
Judging from the preview, all the named characters survived. Which defies logic, you don’t see anyone in the crypt successfully defending themselves, and if people are going to survive, you do need to show at least one or the whights going down.
By doing that you establish that survival is possible.

So most of the main deaths dont really count because they were predictable
Yes. The audience has already grieved for them, and their death is ultimately a relief. Think of the loved one suffering from terminal cancer. The most painful moment is the initial diagnosis.
As consequences you don’t feel a sense the same sense of loss when they do die. And that’s true in the battle. You need the heroes to lose someone you’re not prepared to lose.
That makes the white walkers more credible, and makes the victory feel more meaningful.

your mad Greyworm didnt die
If they’re going to survive, you have to make it plausible. They don’t.
When you do what they did. You stop trusting your eyes and assume everyone will survive, no matter what happens.

I'm glad that the Long Night is done for a few reasons:
1. There won't be a mass extinction.
2. There will be a throne at the end. Or at least a King/Queen.
3. I don't see both Dragons dying so hopefully one is alive at the end.
4. HBO can set up a sequel series 10-15 years down the road.

Uh, using my powers of reasoning, I would imagine that the person named The Night King, who is the king of the undead and the first of his kind, taking into account that someone must have created the WW’s, who then create the wights that die when their WW dies, that killing the night king would kill them all
Sorry for all the apostrophes
Now for the other issue at hand, most people would think the person melting down over being asked if they watched the show the pussy in this here situation
