This really needs to die on this board.

Because your feelings are hurt by it even though this fits it perfectly. You take the biggest part of the books and you make it a side story. Lame.

I'm now thinking that Cersei will win in the end.

I'm sure folks will find plenty of flaws but that is the only thing that bothered me.

What about how their flying fire machines (and the riders) just disappeared for long stretches of the battle while thousands died (even before the ice storm started)?

How about hovering in the air with the dragons; especially after the Night King has just attacked you while you were hovering?

My biggest peeve - watching Jon run off while sitting on the ground on your dragon with zombies/wights ALL AROUND YOU?!?

TBH, I was so fed up with Dany that I was fine if she had died by the end of the battle.

For the most part, it was pretty good. I can believe Arya as an assassin who can sneak up in Winterfell. How everyone wasn't dead yet is a bit far stretched, but you need characters to finish the series.

where does the North go from here if cersei was right and held back.

Everyone will eventually turn on Cersei. The Mountain will kill her in the last episode.

Beric's purpose not being good enough
Not being good enough?! If Ayra was destined to kill NK, then him being alive to die to save her is plenty good enough. Anyone saying that is finding things to complain about.

The "blue eyes" line was also foreshadowed ages ago.

My only complaint is the final climax will be people vs people. Not people vs the dead after beating people. But whatever.

Because she is a trained asssassin? Have you watched the show?

Remember the episode where she chases a cat so she could learn to be as quiet as one?

NK blew a huge lead there. Wonder if he's a Failcons fan.

How was it a lame side story? The Long Night occurred before and was ended before by man. Like Jenny the Oldstones, it’s more like history of Westeros repeating itself.

I wanted to see Nymeria's wolfpack hold pack the Walkers as they pushed South to King's Landing.

Now I guess we won't see any of that cool stuff.
