How long would it take Arya to run to King's Landing?

Maybe she stepped up on a rock before jumping, or a stump

I don’t understand the obsession with the jump

She had already escaped the library. They were in a random room off the main hallway.
Connected to the same building so it's still plausible that she didn't have to jump through hundreds of whitewalkers like you said, that's all I'm saying

I'm hoping they flesh that out in the next episode

Agreed but you know they aren’t

It was extremely evident that she ran fast as frick past the white walker (why his hair blew in the wind) and then just jumped up toward the NK. This isn’t that hard to gather from watching it...

I thought so too.

She later says "the most heroic thing any of us here can do is face the truth". That's going to mean something major about her relationship towards Dany, and her views of the North staying separate, I think.

I think her bringing the armies north to fight off the NK and his decomposing horde won her some points with the houses of the North (the ones that remain).

Ya think?

But that should have been acknowledged in ep 1 and 2 a little more. Those crusty old MFs and Sansa were just begrudgingly tolerating her and her folk because Jon was involved.

It’s not the jump itself people are obsessed with. It’s the fact that the literal hundreds of wights and white walkers guarding the Night King let the jump happen.

I thought the whole point was that Arya was trained by the faceless men. So it would make sense for her to sneak up on them.

Again I will ask, why? Arya can effectively end the entire "Game" of Thrones without any more bloodshed outside of Cersei.

it reminds me of jumping a ship to light speed through another ship. hmmmmmmm why didnt that do that to the Death Star 3 different times.

whats kind of bullshite about this episode is that the Knight King didnt really do anything.

You have this major overall threat that is literally the first thing we see on the show episode 1 and he didnt even make it out of the North.

He didnt even make it to Deep Wood Motte, he couldnt get past Winterfell the closest major kingdom to the wall? Thats shitty to me.

He also didnt really kill anyone important, someone of major consequence should of died last night, at least give that to this threat that has been feared since the first scene of the entire show.

NK got treated pretty shitty overall.

They have established that she is stealthy from her training of catching every cat in the red keep and then with the faceless men. They even showed it again in the library to reiterate it. Then it paid off by sneaking by the white walkers. I didn’t think it was outlandish or anything but definitely some suspension of disbelief. It’s thrones after all

Then what’s to stop her using those skills to assassinate Cersei and Euron in King’s Landing? Why even have armies if killing such powerful people is that easy?

I think regardless of how amazing a Dothraki horde is in an open field, it was bad tactic. If that was Jon’s idea that was his 2nd big battle fail.

They should’ve had the dead charge first then sweep in on both sides with the Dothraki just like my boy Theoden did at Minas Tirith.

A head on charge into the pitch black was stupid. Also, why did the catapaults stop after one round? Should’ve been nonstop all night until they were overran.

It was bad tactics, but it didnt bother me just because it built up a lot of suspense right away.

Maybe she jumped down from a tree where she was hiding, then up onto the NK

time to give that thought up.
