what a contradiction...a maester is a steward of knowledge, no spoilers implies a lack of knowledge about what will happen...which means this is a hodor thread

Maesters are readers and collectors of knowledge, yes. But they don't know the past/present/future like the 3ERs.

If we included leaks, then this would be a Three Eyed Raven thread.

ETA: Although I agree that the Hodor thread is pretty stupid at this point

I get your point. There should be only two threads: The show thread with no spoilers and the show thread where people know what happens. But some people :coughcococough: are still too afraid to enter a thread with any more information than what the show has provided.

Episode titles like this tend to have multiple meanings (see: The Gift).

That episode was so titled because of that Sand Snake's gorgeous tits. No other reason.

I made the tragic mistake of reading "theories" that turned out to be veiled plot leaks.

This is the first and only episode of the season that hasn't been previously spoiled for me. I'm hoping I can avoid spoilers for the next few days and watch an episode of GoT without knowing what would happen first.

I'm not an admin, but I have read some of the plot leaks.

Let this post serve as notice that if those type of "theories" start showing up in this thread, I will RA every single one of them as many times as it takes.

I started the Three Eyed Raven thread specifically to prevent that shite.

So if someone makes a correct prediction?

- I don't make predictions so it doesn't really matter to me. Maybe there can be a predictions thread for those that wish too because it doesn't seem like predictions are welcome

So, which Dragon and Wolf we talking about? J+D or R+L?

It's certainly D + G. Drogon and Ghost playing in the snow for 60 minutes.

There was once a time when hodors were so easily spooked that even show information for a season or two prior would send them in an uproar of allegations of reading.

I saw this random article on my Facebook feed this morning, and it discussed the first time Littlefinger saw Arya at Harenhall when she was Tywin's servant girl. Apparently they interviewed the actor, and he said "the show runners never mad it clear whether he recognized her or not, but he stands by the fact that he thinks the character knew it was her and didn't say anything". It could just be a plot hole, but he has made an effort to turn Arya against Sansa.....maybe he brings this up to Sansa to reverse the finger pointing. Something in the vein of "while you were a prisoner of the Lannisters, she was Tywin's servant". Might not happen, but I could see things going that way.

I didn't even know it existed like that until last week. I called one guy out because he made it so obvious and then it turned into OML searching threads and posts.

If you know what happens, you can spot the spoilers pretty quick and how people try to hide them. It's an interesting study to see people struggle with trying to sound ignorant and smart at the same time.

Jon is a dragon and a wolf.

Yeah - I'm seeing the internet abuzz about the sword awakening after Jon climbed out of the hole. Honestly, I didn't notice at that level of detail, but I kept expecting the sword to literally catch fire.

With all the flashes of the faux "Lightbringers" that Thoros and Beric were flashing around, it seemed foreshadowing. If the show really revealed the "awakening" of Lightbringer (Long Claw) that subtly, then kudos to them for at least once not hitting us over the head with stuff like that.

I think we're at a crisis point now - Cersei is going to choose "burn them all" over abdication. So "someone" (Varys or Jaime, I doubt anyone else has the resources or access - certainly Qyburn and The Mountain are going to follow Cersei over whatever cliff she goes) has to intercede. I predict Jaime's hand (pardon the pun) is going to be forced. With the pace of the show, it has to be coming up - either this next episode or perhaps at the cliffhanger.

The reveal to Jon and Dany about Jon's true parentage (it not more broadly) has to be coming soon.

Do we think Sam and Gilly will bump into Dany, Jon, et al, before their parley with Cersei and Jaime? I mean, as far as we know, Bran "knows" but can't process it or certainly hasn't displayed an ability to communicate it. We all assume Varys "knows" because he knows almost everything like this, but the only person with demonstrated knowledge of a clear clue that R+L=J is Gilly.

its a highly entertaining facet of the show i hadn't really been exposed to much before. I didn't start visiting this until last year or the year before and didn't notice it as much. I guess with the known leaks people are on guard a lot more.

I don't follow - you think Cersei is going to try and wildfire them? that seems kind of played out for the show at this point don't you think?
