Just finished reading it. What a waste. All we learn about is SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS how much it rains in the Stormlands, that the COTF had a cool cave and that a certain castle MAY have fallen.

SPOILERS

SPOILERS

SPOILERS

I thought it was pretty significant that Aegon was going to take Storms End, which may be the best defended castle in Westeros. Oh, and an army from Kings Landing is marching south to meet them. Long live the king.

Alt Shift X episode 3 review. These are great. LINK

I like Alt Shift X. But my favorite YouTube GoT reviews/recaps are probably:

SmokeScreen

(strange combination of red neck and nerd but the guy knows his stuff and keeps it interesting.)

and

Ozzy Man

Though, his Episode 3 review is not one of his best. But it's still pretty damned good.

Looks like he is going into some building walking parallel to the wall. Or is that the entrance to the tunnel through the wall?

I don't think he left just yet. I would assume he'd have to gather supplies, horses, and all the Wildlings/Davos/Mel/etc. that plan on going with him.

I agree. Its been a while, but was Aegon planning to take it by force, or did he have a plan to win them over?
In the sample, one min. Con is marching on SE, the next min he "has it"...shortest seige in history?
Con was talking about taking SE since ADwD, but I don't remember the details.

Well ADwD came out summer 2011 so that's an almost 5 year siege. Impressive on both sides!
