Setting aside the complaints. The new dialogue makes it pretty fricking clear that there is some "secret" in the tower. If there was any chance that isn't Lyanna and Jon, I think the changed dialogue sealed it up.

That wasn't part two of shite

So the hound is alive right because that girl asked no one about him and she said she killed him then the other girl hit her.

Gravedigger Theory confirmed?

Yeah, the whole context of the scene is changed by Ned asking "Where is my sister?" That's just weak if you read it in the books. Ned knew damn well what was up those stairs and the Kingsguard knew Ned knew what was up those stairs as well.
Seriously, wtf was that? Ned rode all the way to Dorne and didn't know what was in that tower?

She also hits Arya when she says that Arya had four brothers. She then correctly states that she had three bothers and a half brother. Not sure if there is anything to read into that other than a reminder how close Jon and Arya were.

So, I guess that the sword that Dayne sticks in the ground could possibly be Dawn, since they focus on it. But even if that was Dawn, they took away any focus on the sword when he broke out the second sword. If book readers don't know that Dawn was definitely used, the Hodors sure as heck wouldn't realize that the one sword was special.

If you look closely at the pommel of the sword he was sharpening and stabs in the sand, you see a sun with rays cresting on horizon. This is likely your beloved Dawn.

Personally I think Ashara Dayne was the one who tipped Ned off to the Tower, hence Arthur's sad smile. I think Ashara thought that Ned was her brother's only hope at salvation, but that simply wasn't going to happen. I think House Dayne and House Reed are the only ones who know of Jon's true heritage.

Is that point important to the TV show? Maybe they are just trying to keep things simple for the audience. Dunno.

No, clearly he didn't. We all know that Ned is a dispshit and rhetorical questions are beyond his meager intellect.

Well yeah.
If we are melting here, can I throw in some melt on Jaime's redemption arc from the book being destroyed? He is one of my favorite characters in the book.
