I bet his new friends are the Iron Bank of Braavos. Stannis went caput and they need someone new to kick the Lannister's arse and get their debts back.
He was the master of coin. So if I remember right, he is the one that borrowed all the money in the first place (for the kingdom). I forgot about him mentioning new friends and he did say something about marrying somebody as well. Who could that be? What major house has a lady that is single, that would marry LF?

And Jesus. Hodor wasn't always Hodor? And he's THAT old? I mean, he had grey hair, but he just looked like he might've been a distant relation to the Targaryans or something they haven't revealed yet. Didn't think he was OLDER than Ned
Did they say he had giant in him or something? When they said he'd be awesome with a sword?
Bran needs a way to get around as well. I guess a wheelchair isn't practical in the woods. But it's awkward seeing him on the ground. Can he be healed with all of this new magic? New body?

Has Theons uncle ever been mentioned or appeared in any of the previous episodes? Man, Theons life blows.
I always thought there were a lot more men at the wall. So badass seeing the wildlings.

Yes. He was mentioned indirectly back in Season 1 when Theon was seeing Tyrion off from Winterfell after Tyrion gave the plans to the horse saddle to Bran after returning from the Wall.

Yes. Balon recants that Euron has been a pirate since the Greyjoy rebellion was crushed (the war that cause Theon to be Ned's ward to begin with).

How was it assured in last season we'd see him?
Was the killing of Roose in the book?

It wasn't.

Only started reading GoT this semester. About halfway through the second book, but if I had to guess, no.

Oh my bad. I misread your comment from the previous page. I mixed the lines of you discussing Theons uncle and Jon snow coming back

Say, does this mean Jon is free from his vows?
This is exactly what I've been thinking.

Well, isn't the next episode called "Oathbreaker"? Only a couple of people that could refer to. Hopefully it's Jon.

And I suspect they both end up at Castle Black at the end of the episode, Brienne and Sansa probably make it to CB, tell Jon what's up at WF and he takes a Wildling army to take back the North??
They were talking about the Umber family, isn't that where Rickon went?

I have a strange feeling that Rickon is going to die.
As a matter of fact, I think Theon will too. Both at Ramsay''s hand.

Jon back + Arya about to become Daredevil = Starks stacked, Ramsey fricked

There were to begin with. Then a few hundred died to the White Walkers at the Fist of the First Man off screen at the very end of season 2. That left a little over a hundred. After the wildlings attacked the wall they lost about another 50. I think it was said last episode they were now down to about 40 men.

I like how the description of this episode said "The Nights Watch stands behind Thorne"
